Interesting guide! I found it particularly interesting because I have developed my own hybrid WW/Conc barb long before this guide appeared and my experience with it has been very good (both in PvM and PvP).

Just a few remarks:

- you suggest to put 180-200 on STR. If you wear an Enigma Archon Plate, all str you need is 103. The equipment you suggest will add some 180 to it.

- you should have enough DEX to get 75% blocking at lvl 99. In order to get there, you need 222 DEX. But the equipment you list adds 90 the DEX, and therefore all you really need here is 132. EDIT: I would use a shield and a sword or axe BOTD!

- You also say VIT shoul be over 300 at lvl 99. But the entire game gives you 510 points to distribute. If you put 103 into STR and 132 into DEX, then you can't get more than 275 base here (without items and charms).

Neuro, you can only get 505 points to distribute over the levels (since you start at 1, that makes 98 levels at 5 each and three quests). Similarly, you didn't take into account your starting barb stats of 30 str and 25 vit. That would bring you to 320 at 99 running with 132 dex and 103 str base.

You are right! There is 1 quest that gives +5 points and therefore we have 98x5+5x3 = 505. Thanks for correcting me!

Anyway, 103 STR and 132 DEX seems to be a good guess (otherwise, if you use 2 Ravenfrosts, you can let DEX at 112 and add +20 points to VIT).

That's exactly what I was thinking


Dual ravens saves 40 dex, gives you a lot of ar and cold damage, as well as some absorb. 40 vit is a lot of life!

Could be even less STR and DEX if u have an annihilus charm (40 more points into VIT). Unfortunatelly I don't have one...

hi, I have a new barb at lvl 42 now. 165 on strength and 75 on dex. 40 on vit, 10 on energy.

I posses IK maul, a unique "reaver" axe thingy, and a bloodstump maul i think.

My skills are in line with the guide so far.

Which should I use? is my stats screwed?

Other than these weapons, I have a 1320 defense armour, the highest in my life so far. Will the hybrid work?

The hybrid is great in PvM and average for PvP (probably a pure WW would do better here). I would put less points into str (see discussion above). Good barbs require expensive equip (dont expect to have a godly barb with cheap equip).
