hey thanks. my only concern was the possibility of problems with my attack rating, if i don't put any points into dex. i assume the IK set will give me enough or should i look for more ar on rings/ammy, like using angelic set stuff?
I'd suggest you start stockpiling some ar charms on a mule or something and don't worry about ar until the time comes when you need it. That's what good about ar, it doesn't affect your stat/skill placement so it's easy to add and remove as needed. Usually for pvm the bare minimum is about 7k ar and a good, comfortable place is 9-10k ar.
The only real problems I foresee with the IK set in HC is getting to the lvl 76 req to use all the pieces, and not having a shield. It's a nice set with good defensive bonuses, but not having a shield makes it automatically more dangerous. It's not the best setup you could have, but it's fun to play.
I'd have to say that unless you plan on using a shield NEVER put anything into DEX. If you are going to use a shield then figure out how much dex MAX you'll need and that includes how much you're EQ is going to give you once you reach end game.
My friend plays HC with the IK set and is having 0 problems as far as I know. Getting to lvl 76 isn't THAT hard but it can be dangerous... though he used Sigons all the way up to 76.
Squi: correct I only recently found that out I supose I'll have to redo my guide as it still has a few errors in it that I'm not liking. *shrugs* life goes on.
