if you go with base vitality your gonna die easy in hc or hcl if you can get cta and gets 2k life after bo then you might want to go all dex a +3 bow skill mat bow cta would be good
no, that would die in one hit to any serious dueler.
I dont care if you do a TON of damage, hardcore duelers are built to take it, and dish it out (aka, people dont duel unless their characters are REALLY made for it and in top notch gear) This is how your first duel would go:
You go out, shoot arrows at town
Barb steps out
Barb teles onto you
You get2 arrows off, one blocked, 1 hits (optimistic)
Barb zerks/ww's and your ear falls.
It wont work, 2 handers, espically zons have little to no place in serious high lvl hc dueling.
If you not putting anything in vitality, make sure you have so much r/w that you can match tele things. Also, if you dont have good resists dont bother. No matter how skilled you are a fb sorc will hit you once in a while.
As for the rubies... it really will not help. At all. (get ed/ias or resists)
You can just max out life and vitality and go with full skill damage from the poison or lightning skills with good passives and a shield as additional protection. The only problem is slightly lower range.
i think this might work if you got really good exiting skills and good with a bowazon max dex for wf for massive ed load up 39 x 3% runwalk sc and get a might merc load up all the + skills on him for pking this should work somehow but for dueling you don't even go there heh
