my first post: a n00b question

i've bin playing diablo for a few months now and online since the ladder reset. reading some of the guides in this forum helped me to prevent most of the newbie mistakes. but a vew minutes ago something happend where i need an adviece:
i started a public game for act 3 hell and after a minute a sorc entered the game and gave me some items for free (a storm chaser and a rare amour)
what the hell does that mean :scratch: did she do something evil to me? or am i too suspicious and it was just a very nice person?
please don't tell me it was wrong to pick them up

Hey, welcome to the forums!

Surprisingly, there are still some nice people on Battlenet. Instead of stashing an un-needed item away on a mule, they choose to give it to other players. You've just been lucky. There is nothing fishy about this.

like when I come home from mommy-meph with another truckload of sigons gear, I just look for a low level game and donate.

I'm actually only doing this cause a really nice paladin game MY first paladin a unique elegant blade in the same manner

I got quite good items too from people and I gave out a few. But WHY CANT U GIVE ME SOME OF THOSE SIGONS PLZ IM CRAZY ABOUT SIGON GEAR AND SPEND 10000000000000000000000gold on GAMBLING FOR THEM.

That person is evil. They gave you hacked items that ban your account and your cd key. They will also put a trojan on your computer and it will probably destroy everything on your computer and fry your hard drive. However, before it does that, it will get your credit card information and take all of your money. You should probably commit suicide right now. :cheesy:

theres no way u can gamble for sets even if u spend 100000000000000000000 gold :lol:
