It's been a weird day for mf'ing...

I started playing today with my wf strafer doing some baal runs while wearing a whole bunch of resistance gear. 66% Kira's, Smoke wire fleece, LoH, T-Gods, and Nat's boots. One of the random public lamers with mh commented on how poor I was, though I was the only one still standing when Bartuc and his buddies jumped out and spewed hydras everywhere. And I was laughing in the face of every Black Soul I met. :flip:

After getting bored with that I decided to do some of my usuall mf runs without my mf gear, just hunting for runes and flawless gems. And I managed to find more uniques in a span of two hours than I can in a whole day with a full mf set up. A Viperfork, Gaurdian Angel, Hellslayer, 4% Manald, Gris armor, and extra pairs of T-Gods and Nat's all dropped in only 4 games. o_O

I guess everyone has one of those days where they're on fire and keep finding stuff left and right. I'm starting to wonder though if all those tales of mf being on decreasing returns is true...

All of that with only 37% mf.

yeah i love it when i gets a string of good runs. I once had demon arch arach mesh and SS drop in 3 mephy runs!

I just like the weird mixes you sometimes get. Just now I killed NM Baal with about 140% mf and the first two items of his drop, glowing brightly green at me are Isenhards case and Cathans armour. What a cheap drop I think, until I see the golden Shako below it :clap:

nm baal cant drop shako...i think you meant hell baal or unique war hat

actually i think he can. A shako is an elite cap. Caps are on the lower end of the "item hierarchy" for helmets. The base item shako can almost certainly drop in late nm difficulty and as long as its Ilvl isnt too high nm baal should be high enough level to drop it. at least thats how i would explain it.

Of course there's also the fact that it happened to me once!hehe

untrue.. i think it all depends on the enemies lvl because ive heard of people getting shakos in nm.

I saw a shako drop from nm Baal once so it is possible. BTW Clone is on and i am trying to figure out how to kill him o_O

well.. first off.. dont leave the game cuz it might switch servers on u.. second.. get ur buddies to pelt him to death!!
if all else fails wait till i can get on and ill help kill him with u.. ill be happy to let u ahve the prize ^^
