Lightning Zon Gear

What would be the ideal gear for a lightning zon?
I've heard about this Lionheart armor wich doesnt have too expensive runes.
But in what armor would it be best to socket it?
And what are items are "best" (as far as thats possible) for a pure lightning zon?

I know that, and i've read Jek's guide a lot lately, but the gear he suggest is called the "old" best gear by himself later on in the topic. So what my question is, is what you all are wearing on your lightning zon or what u would suggest.

Just wear a griffon's eye with 2 perfect 5/5 lightning rainbow facets and the rest of the equipment wouldn't matter (-30%lightning) :lol: Then its probably Ormus's robes again for -lightning resists, mara's for +skills/resists. The rest of the equipment would be gravy

Duriels is my favourite armor to use on a javazon, cannot be frozen, nice resists-whta more could you possibly want :scratch:

griffon's eye with 2 5/5 facets, thunderstroke, thundrgods, SOJ, raven, headhunters glory with 3 5/5 facets or mosers with 2 5/5 facets, rare boots with mass resists, rare gloves with IAS +2 jav skills and resists, maras, 10 jav skillers with lifa or resists, annihilus, 9 FRW/ress all sc, jewlers armor of the whale with 4 5/5 facets

that is: -80 enemy res and +60 LI damage and +19 all (+22 LF)
so fully synergized LF will do: 1-4780 (not counting -80 res) with 43 bolts
charged strike: 1-11721 (not counting -80 res) with 10 charges so it is over 100k per hit against a big target like baal or diablo/clone
i think the clone has 95 li res so after -80 he ll have 15 so it ll be 99630 per hit dunno how many HP he has but I'll bet hee ll die quick

And how do MY resistances do? Like -40 or so?
I don't consider this the best gear though...Its all nice and so but try finding 6 5/5 lightning facets etc...i do agree on the gloves, the rest im not quite sure about..

i thing your resists will b maxed
35 maras
45 sc
45 anya quests
20 anni
lets say 20 from boots 10 from gloves 30 fire and 40 pison from headhunters

you ll have 75 all res i hell with this setup

life will come only from 10 skillers, armor, thundergods, anni (~+600)
you dont need lots dex (75% block) nor str (gear) so u can pump vitality

the damage will b huge

2 facets? How do you get 2 sockets in an unsocketed unique item?

I guess they mean 2 facets total in equipment, 1 in griffon and 1 somewhere else.
I used griffon, chains of honor and storm/headhunter on mine, that setup isn't all dmg but quite a bit defensive aswell, but even then it killed fast enough with around 3600 lf-dmg in storm-mode.
Facets everywhere is for those that think damage is all that matters.
