Gambling for set items???

Well, I have read practically everywhere that you cannot gamble for set items. Well, I was getting rid of some extra gold that wouldn't fit into my stash (i dont like to travel with that much cash) by gambling with the guy in Lut Ghulein with my level 19 zon. I was looking for some good magic find boots and then Hsaurs's iron heal pops up. (i know not the best item)
This was the first time in practically a year of playing that I ever got a set item from gambling. Was I just lucky or has this happend to anyone else?

This happens more often than you think. The odds of getting a set item when gambling is 1 in 1000.

I guess that was my 2000th gamble. I guess I'll have to wait another year to get another one

really? huh, I have gambled much less but I have got arcanna´s amulet, Hsarus shield, and a dwarfstar ring :lol: none of them are worth much ofc.

One of my Barbs was gambling in Lut Gholein (normal diff) and he was wearing all of Sigon's set except the gloves. Guess what he gambled? Sigon's gloves! What are the odds of that? The gloves were the only piece of Sigon's that I hadn't yet found on Ladder.

Until that happened, I too had thought that I couldn't gambles set items. DiabloII.net still says you can't.
