its an ad...typically on the bottom of the page...something about seeing suspense movies...and we've had...what....three threads on this? or two...

It's quite irritating. i don't mind ads, but do they need to find new and inventive ways to be obnoxious?

just hit the refresh button when you start hearing the noise, if you are on a cable connection it will just add like a second to your surf time.
