    Cool a question

I have a couple of non ladder items i would like to trade for a ladder item... i would like to trade with someone from these forums...when making this trade do i need or should i request one of the moderators to help make this trade??I really do not know how this would work since most of my trades have been strictly ladder trades. I really do not want to get scammed. Any advice would be helpful before i post my trade items and Iso ...Thank you...

Till you know the people in the forums well, it would probably be best to look for some people with some high post counts to help you. I'd further run a search and read several of the threads they have posted in to get a feel for what type of person they are. Then just ask. People in these forums tend to be pretty good and very helpful.

I think the moderators are busy enough without having to play middle man for trades on these forums.

I would say that you go for it. Generally, the people here are very reliable to do drop trades with. If I trade something with someone from these forums, I hardly even use the trade window, so that should count for something. The only problem you could encounter is a new member. As much as I hate to say it (I usually don't give much value to post counts), members with high post counts are more to be trusted. Someone who has just registered and/or has just a few posts, could be a possible scammer. Give him the benefit of the doubt though, and try to find a middle man who could help you trading. Don't diss a trade just because the person is new, just be careful.

But as I said, go for it with these forums. Most members are keen on their account here and will not scam someone.

When people tell me "plz" just because it's shorter than 'please', I feel perfectly justified to answer 'No' because it's shorter than 'Yes'.
