ill be away from my comp for about 2weeks. i have both a lvl 76 and a lvl 45 chars that are pretty decent and i dont wanna lose them. if i got on with them right before i left my comp. will they still be there??
or will they expire?
answers please.

Unless you have rushed them and they have less than two hours playtime, they will expire. But I highly doubt that, since you would have rushed them pretty fast.
Check if there is an expiration date. If there isn't, you're safe. New characters expire after 10 days of inactivity, until their total online time is two hours. After that, they expire after 90 days, so I think you are safe.

When people tell me "plz" just because it's shorter than 'please', I feel perfectly justified to answer 'No' because it's shorter than 'Yes'.
And the Lord said unto Carl: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'. But Carl came fifth and won a toaster.

You can always try and "perm" a few of them before you leave. "Perming" means that you park them in a game somewhere so that they would be logged on for two hours or more.Originally Posted by neverdead
Alternatively, you can transfer the stuff you really don't want to lose to an existing character who has been "permed" already.
Or, if you have a (preferably irl) friend you really trust, you can lend him your account so he can keep an eye on it. Or if you trust him, but just not enough to give him your password (maybe if it's a password you are using for more things, like your mail) just borrow him the items you don't want to lose.

This is actually an excellent idea, scary though it may seem. The key is you have to have a real friend to deal with. My playing partner and I have each other's acct info and freely share items. The deal is we specify two characters each that are hands off because we are currently using them. The other twelve are considered mules and all items on them are open for mutual use. I have just had to move cross country and I had no worries about my acct. Once set back up all is as it was thanks to my friends care of my acct.Originally Posted by snowieken

I am in that situation as well, and yes, it's nice. My irl friend and I both have our separate accounts, but I wouldn't mind giving him the password for it. We also have mutual mule accounts. If you ask me, it is pretty normal if the friend is a friend in real life. If you've met him on Battlenet, however, consider yourself lucky.Originally Posted by gblan
