Well lately I have run into a lot of moronic bnet people and I thought that I would start a thread in which people can tell stories of their encounters with moron on bnet.
I have to good ones that happened within an hour of each other.
My first story happened when I decided to start a trade game in normal mode. I had Cathans full set and I thought that I would just trade it off to some low lvl sorc *I was lvl 50 at the time* and a lvl 26 sorc comes into the game asking if I had an occy and I told him that I did but I only had one and was using it.. Well this sorc wanted my occy for free because he couldnt find any good items and he sucked *of course his spelling really sucked* and he tried to start a trade session with me 4-5 times which I rejected because I like my occy.
after saying no the sorc posts this ":(" about 12-13 times and I told him that your only lvl 26 and pointed out to him that you had to be lvl 42 to use it and he said and I quote, "I cna stre it away till l8er" so I got annoyed and left.
my second story happened when I joined a act1 normal lvling game and a sorc accused a druid of using a map hack and the druid acted like he was a hacker and said that he could steal everyone items with his leet D2 hacking skill and the sorc said he was reposting the druid to blizzard...
today i was in an ancients game and we had killed two of them and were about finished with the third when this idiot opens a tp
i thought it was mildly humorous at first cause i thought it was an accident so we reactivated the ancients and are about finished when he does it again
now everyone in the game is pissed so we yell at him and start them off again
well he does it a third time and then types "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"
[Color=Red]One time looooooooooooooooooooong ago in .09 someone tried to pop a character of mine. it was a "dupe scam". so i played along and he told me he had to kill me outside. so i let im kill me, and then he told me to pick up some random item and get bod (obviously he owuld kill before i got to bod...) too bad he was too lame to realize that my body was right next to where he was so i grabbed it and had fun nking him for a couple minutes.
another time some ******* team was nking my sorc in a pvp game and i decided rather than try and get my bod which was impossible (trapper + foh ><) i just went afk in town for a good 15 minutes before one of em says
"im waitin for you" so i respond "i know" and 5 minutes later they curse me out and leave hehe.
lol Dr.G i love it when ppl say they will hack u..right now im waiting to be hacked and then have my acct bugged, and then i guess whoever hits my acct last gets nothing, but can still change my pass eh? well still waiting on all three "hackers" to screw up my acct..oh well [/Color]
Moronic people on B-net.... There are so many.....
I think the ones I remember best are the Harrogoth 'Hangers' during Baal runs. I was heading down to Baal in a gmae I made myself, and invited the people whenthey joined. Finally there were 7 otehrs inthe gmae, and I am slowly geting down to the Throne (no maphack plus players eight makes it a bit slow)
And they wait patiently, chatting a bit, and doing nothing.
So I finally get to the throne after about 4-5 minutes, and five of them say within 5 seconds TPTPTPTPTP and so on the absolute second I get to the Throne. Five seconds later three of them leave, one or two leaving behind a curse or two. In twenty seconds all of them are gone leaving behind another half dozen curses, and the boss pack of blood lords who ambushed me is dead.
Sorry guys, too busy trying to stay alive to type and you don't really want me to open a tp right there with that pack anyway.
Go figure, they will wiat 5 minutes and not get a drop of xp, but won't wait
20 seconds one I hit the Throne.
here is another one. I was in the chat rooms and some guy is trying to convince people that you can check out how many times you died by typing in /w *username/password
some guy tried to convince me u can see your rank if u put your username and password. strange thing was i say his rank when i typed his name, but i stil lsee a con there.
other day doing a normal baal run. walkin through WS lvl 3 when a large charm drops right at feet of my cahr, i pick up quickly, and straight away get the comment: 'damn i hate pickit users' . i just proceeded to reply with LOL and threw the +1 strength large charm at that the char accusin, saying take it if u really want but dont accuse ppl falsely. Strange thing was he kept it :?
Another thing i hate is morons who spam in baalruns tp tp tp. especially when u get to throne and try to make a safe tp, u get no time, they usually the ones that never walk either :/
I was in a cows game getting the leg and everybody else was waiting in town. Somebody started hurrying me, so I asked if he wanted to come get it himself.
