It's a red herring to the discussion.

most of this thread is a red herring. the real deal here is rummy. and everyone screaming for his head has a good reason for it. He didn't order anyone to to that, in fact ther are many many people between rummy and this debacle. plus, no one is asking for tenet's head and he's made more and bigger mistakes. I'm not even sure rummy has doen anything wrong here. all he really did was claim it was his fault...which was a terrible POLITICAL move and has no real bearing on how or why these people weren't being supervised and weren't well trained.

sorry if i helped side track and hijack this thread but this is all over the place...we're discussing vietnam, AQ and Saddam, everything except the real topic here. We can't solve all the world's problems in this one thread...that's why they gave us the whole forum

the war is not the issue. we know we all disagree aobut the war. carnage has his opinions and I have mine. fine but instead of arguing aobut whther or not we should've gone there...and it's a little late now, let's talk about today's issue.
