Lvl 90 to do the ancients......wow
15 Min to kill the ancients.....ouch...
I found with the def merc, he lasted through to the last ancient (the first before he died) and if I handn't accidentally hit belt 4, were I keep my tp scrools) that would have been it for the run as the last one was down to almost nothing.
On the second attempt, he stayed with me all the way through. (Total running time from tehe speah to the gates of the WS opening, three minutes, maybe five.
I'm not going to get into the build I used, (writer places tongue frimly between teeth and clamps down)...hee.hee.heeLet's just asy it does well against dual imunes.
I am still wondering why meteorbs go for a might merc, when they know they'll have to face a heavy physical challenge called the ancients. Is not the purpose of the merc in a single or dual, to provide a meat shield while the caster sits back and does her thing? Whould not the added def, and the longer life for teh merc, be more desirable?
As to dealing with a CI ancient, if you can keep the merc alive, till you have to meet the CI, try hitting him with the following; 9telek on left ouse, and meteor on right) Place merc between you and CI, static, static, static, meteor, then telek x 2, meteor (rinse and repeat last two til merc has fininshed off last ancient.
