Since your CM will most probably be maxed or at least as high that you can reach -100% cold resistance with 75% of all monsters i'd go with Snowclash, BUT only if you are using Blizzard as your mainspell!

If not Blizz than certainly Arachnid Mesh.

The added Coldabsorb and Max resist on Snowclash is nice, but you will rarely need that extra protection in PvM. PvP would be another issue here.

I used snowclash until i was level 80 and then switched to arachnid as it had 20%fcr
which then allowed me to use my occulus instead of a wizardspike - this is because i went the max block and base energy route

ahh, yes snowclash is my vote 100% so.

you get cold absorb, thats a start, you get 2 pt boost to blizz, so if youre a bliz person, thats it right there. glacial gets +3, making it do some ok damage.
I never put a point into the armourss. i got a free level 15 chilling armour from all my gear with this belt!

so you can build around it and save pts.

I've been wondering the same thing, glad I found this post. For PvP Blizzard, I'm leaning toward Arachnid, but Snowclash seems so nice... o_O

The only fcr gear I'd have on is:

Hoto (40%)
Lidless (20%)
Vipermagi 30% (if i can't get COH soon)

If I get COH soon, I take it it'd be best to use Arachnid to retain that 63%fcr breakpt..if not, then go with Snowclash?

Dito. Almost evey character I have ends up wearing a tgods, except my mf chars. I have 3 arachnids just sitting there.
