where are some other good places to run with my necro other then the pit?

I'm assuming you're playing a skellimancer. May I ask why you restrict him to just Pit duty? Part of the beauty of this build is that you can basically go anywhere in the game. Skellimancers are one of the best all-around MF'ers in the game.

These are your Mlvl 85 areas:

Act1 - The Pit (Tamoe) (you knew this)
- Mausoleum (Burial Grounds), tag Blood Raven while you're at it. I've snagged a few Wizspikes from her.

Act2 - Maggot Lair Level 3 (no thanks)
- Ancient Tunnels (Lost City)

Act3 - Sewers Level 2 (I'll pass)
- Forgotten Temple (Upper Kurast)
- Ruined Fane (Kurast Causeway)
- Disused Reliquary (Kurast Causeway)
- go ahead and crush the Council, too

Act4 - River of Flame & CS

Act5 - WSK Levels 1,2, & 3

Your results may improve if you run the above areas in multiplayer games.

Feel free to rub out E/S/P and all Act bosses as well. Skellimancers are entirely capable of doing solo Baal runs (grab your AI curse). Running bosses can be time consuming, but I've had many occasions where the drops along the way trumped the actual boss drop. Skellimancers are versatile, but require patience.

My skellimmancer MF run usually goes like this:

Raise skels from zombie garden -

Kill Pindle
Eldritch
Shenk
Mehpisto
Travincal Council
Andy
Pit
Blood Raven
Crypt / Mausoleum

That run can take me 45 minutes or more (mostly depending on Durance 2.) Place is huge as you know and I don't MH. When I get bored with that run, I head out to Worldstone and clear all the minions out. I rarely do Baal as it takes too long to kill the big guy. I also like to do Chaos and I usually kill Diablo while I'm there.

I found that I combined decent experience and MF at the same time in this way and noticed exp gains up to about level 87. Halfway between 90 and 91 now and the only way I get exp anymore is when "slowing" friends through hell in multi-player games. I don't do hell baal runs. Good god, they were boring enough in normal and nightmare - sick of them I tell you!!!!

Just be careful of running into the convic gloams o_O

I actually do
Pindle
Eld
Diablo

Reason being that although OK are pain in the ***, mixing amplify with lots of ce will help you dish out damage...Moreover the tons of super uniques sometimes drop great items.
