Skill points in all Golems, Golem Mastery and Summon Resist. Some in Bone Armor, Bone Wall and Bone Prison. One point in all the curses and apply more to your curse of choice. CE can be used, but it is up to you.
But I don't think you'll make it to Hell. Feel free to prove me wrong though. If you wonder why check the damage models in the Skelliemancer Bible.
Merc choice will be a though one. The IG will benefit most from a Might Merc. But for survivability I think a HF Merc might give the best results. Interesting question.
