I don't think you can 'win.' That's what zerg rushes are. There comes a point where you can't hold them off (if done with proper micro anyway.) It's just google being awesome and giving tribute to an awesome game.

Similar to going to google and searching for:
do a barrel roll.

I tried Zerg rush - it's really hard. Do you have to try to kill the red and yellow 'O's before they kill your search results? Because there comes a point where they send about 50 in one go!

If I had a solid internet connection, I'd probably be on SC2 now.

SC2 is a lot of fun, my biggest problem with it is you have to spend a lot of time to get good (practising macro etc.)

Those who learnt the macro/micro of it in BW are at an advantage. It's just learning new units and how to micro the individuals properly. Not learning an entire new style.
And adjusting to the mass attack style of things. In terms of complete base control (macro and micro,) SC2 is still more simplistic, more casual gamer friendly in a sense.
I still don't like the idea of automining, or selecting 40 units in a single group. But, those who actually aim for micro will put the entire army as group 2, and 3,4,5 etc could go to individual smaller groups to micro. It allows pros to spend more time on unit control, and less on probe/economy.

I do want to give it a go, but only for the story. I don't want to get hooked to competitive online matches.
