i am considering taking a break from the forums (bar the mafia game) whilst the wife is away.
fake injuries a.k.a. simulating is part of every match, in england, italy, spain, you name it, it's just that spanish players like to keep the ball and play short passes that pisses the other team off and then, they start to be agressive a little bit too much
i hate fake injuries. ruins the game for me. may as well not bother playing.

In any other game, the game would have finished 11 vs. 9. Injury simulation increases if one side is playing particularly rough and the referee isn't doing anything about it. Diving in the Spanish league isn't that big an issue, but there are a few players that are notorious. Cristiano Ronaldo, Angel Di Maria, Sergio Busquets and Dani Alves are probably the worst, in that they go down like they've been shot despite minimal contact - especially Di Maria. My favorite player, Lionel Messi, rarely goes to the grass unless he's been legitimately taken out, to the point where he rarely gets penalty calls in his favor despite harsh fouls because he tries to stay on his feet.
It's been my experience that non-soccer nations tend to make a bigger deal about diving than is the case.
Its just all silly to me, any game that can end in a tie is silly.
