After finishing Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, and not having played the others, I looked on Steam, and it had the first four for ~$14-15 au (US $15.)

And my connection is dropping out heavily at the moment, so I can't use anything with stupid online only DRM.

I made one Stone, with no intent to use it. Even though I never had/have a purpose for it, I could've still waited for a better base, but at the time, I reckon that was the best Eth defense armour I had found. If I find (and think of it) an Eth Sacred Armour with 550-600 defense, I'll be eth bugging it and making another one.

Why Prudence? The resists are nice, but obtainable elsewhere, and the MDR is nice, but... I don't see it.

Edit: Commandos 3 interests me much less now.

Fewer hotkeys is just annoying. You need to use the hotkeys, and in commandos, you'd want more hotkeys! otherwise it's difficulty is because of control issuses and design flaws. Imagine StarCraft (or other RTS's I haven't played) without hotkeys. It'd be slow and... 'clunky?'

I need armor that repairs itself because it will be worn not by the mercenary. Needs to be wire fleece so I look more like Pindleskin.

I have a couple questions in regard my my secondary character I've been playing the last few days. My fishymancer just arrived at Act 3 Nightmare and is it mandatory to always play on /players8? I've never really tried anything else. Just it's quite the pain. I'm killing efficiently but the times where my army is in a tight space it becomes a very slow going adventure when only 1-2 skeles are hitting the monsters.

And what do I max out first? So far I have: max Raise Skeleton, max Skeleton Mastery, 1 into the needed skills to get Decrepify/Revive and I've been working into Corpse Explosion, maybe 5-7 points thus far. Currently level 57 starting Act 3.

For reference, you don't have to play on players 8, I sometimes drop down to players 5 if it is being slow.

My big major goal will to be to get an Enigma, already have a nice 15% ed, 3os breast plate for it muahaaha . A shako and Homu wouldn't hurt either lol.

Just got him to Act 5 Nightmare, currently Level 63. Only thing I found through Nightmare was a 30% Nagel and a Suicide Branch

I wouldn't put it in a superior item, the extra defence is negligible (Seriously on a BP it makes like 5 armour difference, compared to the +700 or so on enigma it is nothing), but the increased repair cost is not.

Some of you guys use Steam right? After making a purchase, do they give you a limited time link to download, or how do they organise that? What happens if the connection drops out mid-download, or the files disappear for whatever reason? I'm considering getting a pack, but honestly, have no idea how Steam operates.

Thanks for the Steam info all. As said, not sure if I will go for it. Finished the first release, played half of the 2nd release, and the 4th release is harder due to design issues and lack of hotkeys, which is a shame. I'll think about it anyway.
