Cause of demise: Trying to get the jump on the next baal run I started teleporting (on my touchpad mouse) with no BO until I came upon a pack of souls that cut through my 55 light rez. The only thing that even touches my health balls is souls and mana burn, which they are naturally both. I'd had one close call a few days ago in the same exact way, but S&E in time. Not this time! And no one had joined the game yet (loot) because they were killing baal. DOOF!

Cause of demise: Just another solo Baal run (number 160 to be exact), only this time within seconds I was getting pummelled by Conviction Souls. Normally Souls heal me, but apparently not when my resistance is brought down to about 10-20. When I figured out trying to teleport away wasn't going to work, and all my juvs were gone, I tried to save/exit... too late brother. Shako, Mara's, HotO, SS, TGods, 17/20 Anni... Nature's Peace and 3 or 4 Baal grand charms in stash

Cause of demise: I was doing my first NM Baal run with my first hardcore character and because i have a really old computer I stayed a couple of screens away from Baals minions. Then some dude lured the last of Baals minions to me. For some reason the other people didnt kill the minions while he was luring em. I didnt think it would be anything serious and I just tried to run away. It didnt work though, they killed me in 3-4 hits(I didnt have rejuvs because I had drunk them all earlier to counter the poison draining all my life). Good think it happened at such a low level, next time Ill be more careful and Save & Exit as soon as anything dangerous is about to happen.

I scanned the (ginormous) crowd for any Bosses... Extra Fast Cold Enchanted Aura Enchanted (Blessed Aim?) beastie hovering over my completely obscured corpse (2309482390842 cows were in the way).

Cause of demise: Stupidity, over-confidence. I got caught between two Infindel boss packs on a bridge. Running wasn't an option, escape seemed cowardly, so I tried to shoot it out with my 10/3 speed 231ED Harmony blade bow, wrong move.
In some ways, I'm glad this is over.....Before the the Zon Tourneys, I wasn't playing much. The uszon_canzon thing brought me back into it and it was great . Now it is time to move on. Thanks for the fun guys.

Cause of Demise: So I'm in the Throne and everything's going fine. I've done this hundreds of times before. The monster mix was Vampires & Dolls. Obviously there was some third monster, but either I'm forgetting it already, or I just didn't stumble across it down there.
Now, the dolls are really the only thing I get jittery about. I've got 1250 life, 85% fire resistance, 10% PDR and 15% fire absorb, but those little monsters can still take a good chunk out of my life if they pop next to me. So I'm thinking to myself "You can still die if the dolls get to you." So I'm being really cautious and doing the creeping barrage of traps very slowly as I make my way into the main throne room. Baal starts laughing and the minions start coming. I cast CoS on the first guys and my traps wipe them out pretty quickly. Too quickly. I'm worried that CoS won't be ready to cast again for the second wave, and that concerns me because the mummies can resurrect the dolls.
The second wave spawns and I hit CoS. Nothing happens, it's still in effect from the last time I casted it. Bam, my life goes down to about 2/3, and I think to myself "****, that was not cool." I back off a little and head over to the right, by the pillar. The traps are firing and mopping up the last of the minions.
Deeds.
I assume it was a doll explosion, but I didn't see any near me, so who knows.
Oneirogen was by far my favourite and coolest character. I rebuilt her twice to get her just perfect. Lost a number of good items: 39 Heart of the Oak (my first ever), 15% ed Spirit Monarch, "Um" Shako, 198% ed Tgods, 20 dex Raven, 15/15 Assassin torch (my first and only torch, thus far), and a few other things that are more readily replaceable, but gone all the same.
Oddly, I feel kind of peaceful about it. I guess I've just been playing hardcore for long enough to not mind any longer.
I'll probably take some time off to do something else. Maybe I'll reinstall WC3 and play some custom maps. Autumn Crossing is fun. With any luck I'll be getting that electric guitar soon...

Cause of demise: Hmm... Well, we were doing hell baal runs for exp when I got a little bit punchy and went down the portal to the throne thinking that I would be safe and could help out to clear it.
Apparently there were dolls, my merc of course, did his job and killed one. Sadly, he did it the second I walked out of the portal.
My computer basicly loaded up the deeds screen, rather then the throne and then the deeds screen.
Oh well, I got looted (thanks to Hells and Spade) and I wanted to make a new Sorcy with max block anyway, so now I have a good excuse! gogo me!
