    I believe this is so. I am not sure if you do not have a World of Warcraft account tied to it. I think right now if you have an account with a pre order (and no WoW attached) if you add a collector's edition to it, then it will upgrade to a collector's edition. However, this is a wasted sixty dollars, so if you have a WoW account and do this upgrade you will receive a few (4 I think, maybe more, maybe less) months of WoW game time.

    I'd rather get a CE overnighted and wait until the next day, but let's see how patient I feel the week before release...

    So you can add your CE code to your digital copy of d3 and it will simply upgrade to that?

    I have ordered a CE but if it doesn't arrive in time I will buy a digital copy but I thought I would have to install the CE as a new account.
