I will now write about all this...<br />

Runes...keep all the runes from D2. Exactly the same rune names and numbers. But if you want to change what bonus a rune gives, rebalance that in D3 slightly. Keep ZOD that insane rare drop and keep the bonus Industuctable.<br />
<br />
Runes are put in items to make them better.<br />
<br />
Rune Words...ofc we will see new rune words. But let us only create Rune Words when using the Horadric Cube. That way a recepy that dont exist or dont work inside the cube. No more mistakes (of that kind).<br />
<br />
Add this: Any rune can be down graded to more simple rune by putting the rune in the cube with the right gem. Example:<br />

1 Flawless Emerald + Zod Rune = 1 Jah Rune<br />
<br />
And keep the upgrade of runes exactly as it works now. Examples:<br />
<br />
3 El Runes -&gt; 1 Eld Rune<br />
3 Dol Runes + 1 Chipped Emerald = Hel Rune<br />
2 Pul Runes + 1 Flawed Diamond = Um Rune<br />
<br />
Glyphs...now we talking new stuff. Glyphs are put on SKILLS to make the skill better. This is the Blizzard system.<br />
Runes -&gt; Items.<br />
Glyphs -&gt; Skills.<br />

And how do we create Glyphs in D3? With the old traditional cube ofc!!!<br />
<br />
1 specific Rune + 1 specific gem + 1 any jewel = 1 specific glyph<br />
<br />
Once you put a glyph on a skill, you cannot take it out, you can only change to another glyph. The old glyph will be destoyed.<br />
<br />
Place stats. I like the D2 way. I create my characters. I choose if my sorc will have dex for wizardspike or max block or stick to base dex. I choose str for tal rasha or stormshield and so on. That is how i form my character and I like that system very much in D2. So much i will like to try it in D3 again. But sure there are some problems. I might do a misstake, or realise that I have better or worse gear so I would like to change how I put my stat points. Or I need to level as PVE but want to spec PVP at maximum level.<br />
<br />
So we need to be able to respec. I suggest that we can do it twice. First time after we kill lasts boss in Nightmare. second when we have killed last boss in Hell. That means that if i do misstakes I can still kill boss in Nightmare but it will take higher level before i can do it. And it means that I can spec pvp after last boss is dead.<br />
<br />
Gold...some wonder how gold will be balanced. I have ideas...we will get gold same way as in D2. but maybe less gold. We will spend gold the same way as in D2. For fun, repair bills, buy potions, and when we gamble for items (or gamble for a rune!). We will not use gold in auction house. Yes you read it, how will the auction house work then??? I will explain...<br />

Aucion House (AH), or maybe call it Market Place or whatever. It works a lot like the AH in WoW, but not exactly... We need AH to sell and buy items. It is a much better system than making games called &quot;I offer Shako, need Titans revenge&quot;...<br />
<br />
The new auction house/market house works like this:<br />
* You put same number of items as your level. At level 10 you can only have 10 items for sale at a time.<br />
* You pay 100 gold to put an item on the AH.<br />
* You pay 1000 gold each time you buy a item from AH.<br />
* You can not place bids!!! You can only use buyout!!! Accept the price or not!<br />
* When you buy something it will come to you &quot;ingame mail&quot;.<br />
* when something is not sold, it will return to you with &quot;ingame mail&quot;<br />
* You can only specify the price in Runes. Yes. Only runes... You specify what rune, and how many. Minimum 1 rune, maximum 3 runes. That means that everything in AH has a price from 1 EL rune to 3 Zod runes. If you want more than 3 Zod runes, well then use the traditional trade window...<br />
<br />
Where do you keep your runes? You will have a tab in your chest. There will be 33 slots. One slot for each rune. The runes stack so you can keep up to 5 runes of the same sort in the slot for that rune. If you got more runes you keep them wherever you want, but you will proberly upgrade or downgrade them.<br />
<br />
If you get 1 or more runes in each slot in the rune tab, that means 33 kind of runes, you will get an achivement for your account, and that character that complete the achivement will get a permanet 5% dmg reduction.<br />
<br />
Bank. Ofc you have a &quot;bank vault&quot; also where you can transfer items between characters if you dont want to use the ingame mail for that. Whatever you put in that chest, you can access from any of your characters on the same account. Safe muling one more way.<br />
<br />
This was some of many ideas I have that keep D3 a Diablo game, with a lot of favorites and a lot of new stuff in a nice combination. IMO.<br />

The 360 controller is becoming standard for pc games, so why not include support for it?  I mean you'd have to use the mouse for the inventory and stuff but that's not a big deal. It would increase the strategy use in the game vs. the click rapidly thing. Since the game's running total 3d now there isn't really anything stopping it and it could be like so, ON A 360 CONTROLLER:<br />
<br />
<ul><li> left thumbstick- move</li>
<li> right thumbstick - camera, or even aiming (for leap, teleport skills like that)</li>
<li> start - pause in single player</li>
<li> d pad- potions</li>
<li> lb - inventory or something</li>
<li> rb - quests or something</li>
<li> triggers, x, a, b, and y - all assignable, like the hotbar, except even quicker</li>
</ul> <br />
Just something to think about.  It would really prevent alot of us from getting carpal tunnel, and help with their goal of &quot;strategy insteal of mindless clicking&quot;<br />

My biggest complaint about D2 is how much the game changed with all of the revisions and patches.  I kept having start over with new characters because they kept changing the way you played the game, making each one of my builds obsolete.  LOD, Lagomancer, Synergies etc, etc.  They're even gonna release patch 1.13 shortly.  Waayy too many patches. <br />

A patch should fix a typo or a bug, not change how the game is played.  <br />
<br />
Please Blizzard, test, test, test and then release.  I don't want to buy the game and then have to download a dozen patches because you didn't spend the time to make it fun and challenging.</div>

Let me explain a little. I played D1 and I mainly played D2 single player, with a bit of online play, although generally im quite a casual diablo-er (and usual lurker on this site looking forward to d3).<br />

The biggest failure of D2 for me was the fact that to build a good char, or viable off-cookie-cutter build, it took some serious research online, and knowledge of the how the in game mechanics worked.<br />
<br />
The sort of stuff im talking about is things like frame rates, breakpoints, run speeds, optimim crafting levels, exact spell cooldown time, etc, theres loads and loads of things you couldnt actually see fully about your char. For me its just not a fun part of a game to have to go online and look up some breakpoints in a table on a forum. This is why I only ever remained a casual single player, not a hardcore online player.<br />
<br />
It simply annoyed me that i might get a faster cast rate ring that literally did nothing, and i couldnt know without researching it- i just wanted to play. <br />
<br />
Theres other things too you had to go online for, runewords, recipies, best monsters for drops, checking out skill trees etc - all the sort of stuff that you can find about in the statistics forums here - <a href="http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13" target="_blank">http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=13</a><br />

Of course all the mechanics for d3 will be drastically different from d2, but i'd like to think out character will have all sorts of factors that change their performance and i want to be able to see them working!<br />

I say, theres no point bliz trying to keep things secret and hidden within the game as if there is any info that people are gonna benefit from knowing, its gonna appear online somewhere (like here, the arreat summit etc) so just skip that step , lets have it all included in game, in as easy user-friendly understandable way as possible.<br />
<br />
It would probably be best if all the full information isnt available from the start - for 2 reasons. Firstly because its likely to swamp a new player with too much information. And secondly cos i think it's be cool and fun to acquire new info, say kept in your journal/diary/book-of-knowledge, as your character progresses. In d2 terms i suppose what im asking for would be something like an in game runeword tool which adds runewords maybe as you pick up a certain number of runes, or reach a certain level, or breakpoint tables included but only once you reach act v hell etc. Maybe the most complex bits of the game's  inner workings could be saved for the really high-end chars, the guys who really need to know this info. <br />

Watching Diablo III trailers...  There's an enormous amount of blood spurting everywhere during combat...<br />

Now this may make some people squeamish...  (Fair enough)  But it is also DISTRACTING and MESSY - and I think it detracts from gameplay...<br />
<br />
SO - I am asking this of Blizzard:  PLS including a sliding scale for blood and gore - so we can choose not to have blood spurting everywhere if we don't want it...<br />
<br />
I don't imagine this would be too hard to implement...  So readers: PLS comment on this here - and comment at the Blizzard forums... <br />
<br />
Even if not everyone feels the same - I think it's worth Blizzard's while to provide realistic options for all the players who have been looking forward to this game for so long...<br />
