Huh?
You mean like, a build?
An assassin that uses swords?
Heh, I think I'd make one just for the name.

You'd have to get a sword that looks closest to a samurai sword, and I don't really know of one...Ataghan, maybe? Angelic's sword looks a little like a samurai sword.
Black armor, like Corpsemourn, would work with Veil of Steel to give you a small light radius and completely black clothing.
You'd of course use Bladefury and Dragon Flight and probably Cloak of Shadows.

Paladin w/o shields make much better samurais then assassins. Assassins are ninjas.
For a reformed Assn Samurai theme, you will mostly want the look. D2's item names are already fairly poetic; however, you will need to pick and choice. For example, "Chains of Honor" is a more samurai-themed than "Treachery" (unless you are going with a Ronin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronin) theme).
Armor:
Pick any of the full-body armors. Personally, Archon looks great on an assn.

The splint armor family, however, would go the best with the theme.
Weapon:
Legend Sword

Crescent Moon, Lawbringer, Fury make excellent weapons here.
No shield.
Helmet:
Guillaume's
Spired or Winged Helm
Nothing else affects your look very much; however, it's best to stick to theme names.
Skills:
http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/skills/assassin-martialarts.shtml
20 Tiger Strike
20 Phoenix Strike (Use the charge lvl corresponding with your synergy)
20 Any Synergy (I would go with lightning or fire)
1+ BoS (best for quick hits)
20 Shadow Warrior/Master (Warrior is better themed)
Sorry to tell you all this, but samurais are only men, so an assasin can't be a samurai, also samurais use mainly two handed swords or spears (katanas, naginatas, etc) so I think a goo idea could be to use a giant thresher that looks like a samurai weapon.
An also for looking purposes you can use a winged helm or spired helm (the closest helm that look like a kabuto)
Just a little contribution :)

For authenticity, you could use a Yari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yari).
If only the 2 handed swords were curved...

Samurai-ko. Problem solved. :prop: Unless you're going to say that I'm just making up that, in which case I'll refer you to everything else in D2.
The biggest issue for me with Samurai builds is that Assassins are really pathetically slow with 2H swords unless you kick, which doesn't fit the theme. I've had a lot of fun with with them anyway, but it's really difficult. They look extremely cool at least.
One handed swords are quicker, and the Falchion type swords look pretty katana/wakizashi-like, but there aren't a lot of good weapon options there as the uniques are limited and they only have a 2 socket max. P
They're quite slow with spears too, so that doesn't help.
Polearms are much better on Assassins, and good looking too, though none of them look quite right for the theme.

The Kingslayer runeword would be sick for this build. Vengeance is a very Samurai-esque skill I think. Though I doubt you'll be able to get much effectiveness out of it...

Try a barb or paly for closer looks and more effectiveness. =/
