How do I go back?

Currently in inferno act I, thinking about going back to NM act3 to do some gold farming. How do I do that without loosing my current progress? TIA.

Before starting the game, use the select quest and difficutly drop down menu to select those two catagories. When you want to go back to inferno, you do the same thing but you can select up to your maximum progress.
