So ive recently saved up some pennies and wanted to build a pc for the one purpose of playing D3, but im not a big tech guy and wanted opinions on wether or not it could handle and run D3 on high settings

The specs are

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4ghz
4GB RAM
Radeon HD 6850
22" Dell LCD Monitor

i got the monitor already, its the monitor i used with my other crappy computer

Any suggestions are very welcome as i havent ordered any of the parts yet

According to this, that card will get a solid 70+fps everything maxed in 1080p resolution... You will be a happy D3 gamer

I advise you go foing for gtx560 instead of HD6850 it is more expensive but much more money wise.

this one you can get around 200$ or is it too much for you? let me now.

That will be more than enough for Diablo III, plus I guess you're only playing at 1680 x 1050 with that monitor?

@BohemianStalker Im kinda on a tight budget, is the reason i went with the Radeon 6850 its alittle cheaper but its a really good card from what i hear or would the 6850 struggle on high?

@MrH Yes that is the current resolution im using

I've got a 6870 and it runs (ran) the D3 beta just fine. I can't see the 6850 doing much worse.

Here is a demonstration video of D3 beta performance with Gigabyte 6850 card, it runs smoothly in action.

Guys, I already posted this somewhere, but since this is the dedicated tech support:

I have a 9800GT 512mb with an I7 920.
I know the card is supported and above minimum specs, but I want feedback from people playing the beta.
Will the game be smooth on 1360x798 on reasonable medium/high setting and in the most intense battles?

I have laptop with 9700M GT and P8600 2.4ghz cpu, beta ran good on 1024x720 resolution with high settings, so you will be good.
