Yes, the video card is pretty much the only thing you need to check, the rest should be good enough.
Nvidia GeForce 540M (or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730) and up should allow you to play at medium and even high. These laptops should be starting at about $659 (the screen size will also influence the price a bit).
