So basically i have two laptops, and this one has a better processor, but an integrated graphics card. I read that I can overclock this cpu and increase the integrated gpu performance by a third. I'm just curious if there is anything I can do to boost the performance of the gpu or cpu. I can play d3 on low settings, but graphics periods such as the pillars area for skeleton kings runs tend to bog the game down.

Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2620M CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2701 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM)

Graphics Adapter Description

Any help would be fantastic.

Please don't overclock your laptop.

Not worth it imho... Since it's integrated you won't get much of a performance boost. The rest is A+ but overclocking the GPU won't help much and you might loose the whole laptop if it fries up. Your best bet is switching to XP if you have Win7 since the desktop on Win7 uses 3D rendering intead of 2D in XP and it gives a little performance boost. At this point it's best to tweak the OS instead of GPU. There is a HUGE difference when I run the game on XP instead of Win7 on my laptop, but you'd have to find an xp licence if you want to stay legit.

Instead he could simply disable Aero and use a Windows classic theme, or a basic Windows 7 theme.

Also, check out this post and do the stuff listed under Windows 7 tweaks, I wouldn't worry about the rest for now: http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?63273-*-Windows-7-Ultimate-Tweaks-amp-Utilities-*

I turned of Aero already, about to read the list posted above.
