Hello just a quick question I've been playing diablo 3 beta using mooege emulator and I've been getting lag spikes when entering areas and when mobs come on screen and was wondering if anyone else has this issue and also if people playing the real beta are having this issue Or it be my system?
My system
Amd bulldoser 6 core oc'ed 4ghz
8gb ram
Gtx550 Ti sli
Win 7 64bit
I can't wait to play this game and don't want it messed up on day one because of this issue
From what I've read, the emulator is far worse performance wise than the beta.
The new beta patch seemed to resolve some performance issues for some people and I'd assume the retail version will be even better.
There is no reason that a machine with your specifications is having trouble with a game like Diablo 3 so I wouldn't worry. If there is a problem, it will probably get fixed before launch.

Yeahhhhhhh... you definitely don't have to worry about running D3, haha. You've got a great machine that will last you for years there.
Just don't try playing any official D3 release / beta on your emulator client -- you will encounter problems, as I've seen other people mention on the official forums. You'll need to remove the emulator entirely and reinstall.
You don't have to worry about FPS issues with a 550 ti. I had one that I just use for Nvidia Physx now, but it ran d3 at mid fifties-60 fps at all times, and that was a very early patch so it probably runs at a solid 60 now constantly.

I have a 550ti as well, although only a single card. I frequently mess around with the emulator and recently got a chance to play on the official servers, so believe me when I say, that playing on the official servers is a much smoother experience. The client still stutters in the first few minutes sometimes, but after that I don't get any frame rate drops.
