Hey I was looking into getting a netbook, and I was wondering if anyone knows of one that would run Diablo 3 on it possibly. I know it wouldn't be ideal but I need the portability of a netbook, and I don't want to break the bank on the netbook. I have seen the M11x, but that is just too much money. I am willing to go for a 12-inch if there is one that would possibly be able to run it. http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-1215N-PU27-BK-12-1-Inch-Netbook-Black/dp/tech-data/B004V93M1A/ref=de_a_smtd I was wondering if maybe this would run it. I thought I read somewhere that the nvidia ion is an equivalent of a 9400. But the processor was my big concern. This one may be a better choice: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-1215B-PU17-BK-12-1-Inch-Netbook-Black/dp/tech-data/B004Q7LHVE/ref=de_a_smtd and then I can just upgrade the RAM to 4 gb. If there isn't something that could maybe run it, no biggie. Thanks.

I wouldn't get a netbook for Diablo 3. I bought an Asus netbook a couple of years back and it was basically only powerful enough to do what netbooks are for (browsing the internet, hence the name lol).
There was even screen tearing when scrolling up and down webpages...
Also my netbook randomly turns it's screen off, and the only way to get it working again is to hold the power button and turn it back on again (yes, I do have things like power saving off etc lol, I'v done research and quite a few people have had the same problem ;p). So if you do get a netbook, I wouldn't recommend an Asus. ;)
If you need portability, then I'd get a laptop, you can get quite decent laptops at reasonable prices these days. They will blow away netbooks in terms of power, and you can still shove them into a backpack (or laptop bag, whatever you prefer lol.)

YES! I own the ASUS 1215N and it's AMAZING for games. It's not your standard netbook. I upgraded the RAM to the max 4gb and this thing handles games no problem (I also threw in a 32gb Class 10 SD dedicated to ReadyBoost in Win7, but it mostly helps by caching the OS for random read/writes and multi-tasking, which frees my RAM for graphics/processing performance). The graphics and HDD are the strongest components in the system. One of my favorite games is Fallout 3 on this system. I run it at ultra resolution with max anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering and it's smooth. It's also a very COOL system for gaming. It will never reach its TJunction max, especially if you use a secondary cooling system. I HIGHLY recommend this system for Diablo 3 or any other gaming for that matter. I will be buying Diablo 3 on launch day (probably the Collector's Edition) and running it on this computer without any worry. For an inexpensive gaming laptop that's ultraportable, meaning you can take it to a friend's house easily I mean this thing is light as hell, this rig has not done me wrong. Oh, and I've owned it for a year now and it runs just as well as the day I bought it, even better in some aspects with the driver updates for the Ion2, not to mention 3 hours of gaming on battery. I hear the ASUS 1215B isn't bad either, and slightly better in terms of gaming performance, I'm just an NVidia Diehard.
Games I've played on my ASUS 1215N:
World of Warcraft Cataclysm - High Settings
Starcraft 2 - High Settings
Diablo 1 and 2 - Max Settings (Obviously)
Fallout 3 Game of the Year - Max Settings
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Max Settings
Counter-Strike: Source - Max Settings
Torchlight - Max Settings + 10 mods running
Worms Reloaded - Max Settings
Command and Conquer 4 - High Settings
Halflife 2 - Max Settings
