Welcome to the Monk OT thread!
I held off making an OT thread as long as I could, but I do love me some OT!
I'm the new Monk mod, so lets get to know each other :wave:
Have fun and keep it clean, and don't forget to obey all the forum rules!
Oh...and I guess I have to give credit to corax for the title, I'm sure he'll be along shortly.

Ohhh yea another OT thread! I cant decide if I want to play monk or barb first... and the WD and wizard look really cool... Dh is bland and will be last for sure.... I might die when D3 comes out, def going to take 7 days off work (or so)

I feel a bit obligated to make my first character a monk. That's okay though, I'm terrible at making decisions anyway so this will make it easy!

For some reason I believe they drink tea. A lot of tea. Herbal, healing stuff and such.
On the other hand some of them aren't allowed to talk either. That would make this a pretty boring OT.

I checked this out earlier today, when the thread only had about 30 posts. I do think that the epic spam volume from seasoned spammers like yourself may scare off fledgling spammers that have yet to find their nascent talent...

I think that you should add "OT" to the front of the thread title, just to make it clear. It's hard to invite people to an OT thread if they're not naturally OT people.
I had Ot in the title but removed it because I thought it looked bad, I could add it back though of course.

Well, it did have a rather inappropriate first post! I should have copied what you wrote, it was pretty bad I think.
I think that once the actual game comes out, and more people flock to the forums, then the OT aspects of the forum will develop more. People will come here for information and socialization, rather than simply dissecting the Beta, which seems to be the current trend here.
Yea, there hasn't been much new info in the last few weeks, so the class forums are rather slow. It will get busy eventually. There have been about 5 posts in the last week, its really slow.

i had a friend in high school who was so bad at rollerblading. to stop himself on downhills hed either grab trees and lightpoles etc ooooor he'd throw himself onto peoples lawns and roll til he stopped.
he came with me and my brother round the dam and into the next town over one day (20-25kms). when we got there he realised he lost his wallet. so we made him wait were he was and we went back to hunt (he was slow too). found it about 2kms from our house on a front lawn he'd rolled down.
So we just went home and i drove us back. We gave the wallet to him which was empty bar for a picture so we assumed someone had stolen everything. nope he is overjoyed as everything is how he left it.
So he had no money, no cards, no id nothing bar a picture of a probiscus monkey.

you'd be surprised at the amount of weird stuff that has occured. i think its because i lack the ability to be traditionally embarrased so i find weird friends and occurences quite often
A good base of weird friends is the key. I have normal friends, they don't do stuff like that.
besides 1 or 2 i am actually the weird friend. and the guy who is prone to taking people up on their fake challanges.
the people at work dont believe me that if they get a chicken suit i will wear it for an entire 8 hour shift. i hope they get it.
Not turning down bets or backing down from challenges will certainly make for some interesting things happening.

I went to my favourite bar last night. It's an Irish pub, but it really isn't very Irish. Speaking of aj's I met a lot yesterday. Stole one of their jackets. Just returned it today. Alcohol makes you do silly things.

Forums are pretty dangerous when you need to get some work done on a computer, I have the same problem.
thats why i print my course work out and do it by hand. that way im only on the computer to copy it so spamming is ok too

Well, I do other stuff as well. But not much that is actually challenging. However, I didn't came here for the work - I came here for the experience and to learn the language. The work is only for a year so I'll definitely be OK.
Fair enough, I would probably do that kind of job to learn a language.
A mate of mine is doing an engineering job in Santiago. He did not know Spanish when he started, now he is fluent

It's a 1/2 pint of guiness and a shot that's 1/2 baileys (or other cream licour) and 1/2 whiskey. You then drop the shot in the beer and down it.
Not done that but just beer and a glass of whiskey dropped in it. Sounds relatively close to it.
