So washed the bathroom. Not quite done, but there are so many tricky places to reach, so I'll finnish it off... probably next week. Since tomorrow I'll be drinking, and on friday I'm going to visit my family, mostly to help my brother do the dishes and maybe wash the floors. Gotta help out the youngest in the family when he's had his 5th knee surgery. :s
Also to possibly help my dad do some stuff if he got time for it in the weekend.
But all that aside.... I'm getting more and more excited about Germany and Europark next month!

GOD DAMNIT!!!
Hell, act 3, the keep lvl 1.... it's killing me left and right. First rare (yellow) minion pack of soul rippers with frozen, knockback and invulnerable minions. Only through sheer dumb luck did I manage to kill those, and that is because all the invuln miinions got parked in a corner far away, but for some reason that yellow guy didn't follow. 1 death later and he died.
Then 2 champion packs, soul rippers and skeleton archers. Archers with knockback and illusionist (sp?) and some other mod I didn't get to see, and soul rippers with jailer, molten and... can't recall the rest. Died there. On my way back I tried to go a different way. This time I got killed by a rare pack of vortex, arcane horde demon hunters (those large red guys with huge maces/clubs).
Gee I'm looking forward to lvl 2! -.-

Aye I'm feeling the pain now, but that area earlier was really nasty. It wasn't so bad once I got past it though, smooth sailing for the most part.
Act 4 is worse in ways and better in others..... Then of course you've got inferno to deal with.

But second game today where me and a friend (first game we were just the two of us, second we were 3) played League of Legends and went 2 junglers. Usually there is only 1, since for the most part each teams jungle can only support 1 jungler, and the other team has a jungler themselves most of the time. But we share as much as possible, cover lanes when other players recall, and go into enemy jungle to steal some creeps to keep it all going. Fun thing was I more gold earned than all but 1 enemy player in that last game. And better yet, there was no one raging at us for doing something unusual either of the games! Which is perhaps what surprised me the most. ^_^
It's always a bit surprising when you play a game not as intended and nobody gets mad :D

I found the begining of Act3 hard, but then I dinged to level 60, giot a new awesome item and rocked through it.
Act 4 is worse in ways and better in others..... Then of course you've got inferno to deal with.

Yea, I try really hard to not spend very much on gear that isn't for a level 60 character, so I have the cash to buy what I actually need.
That is probably a good idea, I probably spent a bit much on my barb when I first got into hell and was having difficulty.
The wiz is having more trouble in act 2 hell, I guess 18k life, meager armor, and less than 100 resists isn't cutting it :D

Actually so far it's not been so bad. A few areas have had some nasty mods in it, but that's more random than anything. Granted I've accepted 2 weapons and 1 off-hand from friends, but shortly afterwards I've found better stuff, and even without it, the areas would only be slower, but not impossible, without those items.
I've not spent anything on the AH, and I've unlocked every chest upgrade, and still got around 500k gold. I'd say not that bad, but I have crafted some stuff, and upgraded quiet a few gems, which has set me back more than using the AH would.

I'm act 3 hell, 28k health, about 100 resist all (I tink) and 1300 armor or so. Most stuff is easy peasy, but some elite/champions are not. :P

Now back to gaming. :o

I was all out of alcohol, but definately not sobered up. The thing is those other posts I made while waiting for a League of Legends match to start. IE drunk and not a whole lot of time to write=bad typing. But that last poist I made just after getting backt o the comp from the bathroom, and since I didn't unmute my microphone, I could take my time typing it. ^_^
Anyhow back to sobered up thing, I woke up today (no idea what time it was), and felt so weak and frail almost. And definately still drunk! So went back to sleep, and later on my phone rang and woke me up, and it was 10 am. But not that surprised being still drunk at I guess around 8 am. I did empty 0.7 liters ov bacardi (only gave away a little bit, unless people took without asking), and a few pear ciders. ^_^
Drinks are good.
They most definately are. :D
3 hours and I will have my first ice cold beer! :guiness:

Just met å really nice guy working at a kiosk. Went inside to buy a small bottle of cola for the bus ride, and t packs of cola flavored snus. They only had r packs though, but he said they had gotten å few other flavors too. So he brought up his own box of å flavored snus and offered me one. :D so i humbly accepted and bought å box of the same lind he offered me.
I know he was just doing it for the sale, but never met one who'd gone about it in quite the same way. :D
Btw it should say 5 packs and not t packs. For sone reason my phone wont let me go back to that spot to correct it, at least not without erasing a lot of next.
I still feel bit buzzed myself, and have a headache. Oh well...off to work!

I'm back from France wher eI visited a monkey mountain, with actual monkees not MONKees, I fed em popcorn they liked it!
Do not give them a wooden stick though they will slap you!
Later on back to bashing skulls in with my MONKey, lvl 55 in hell and dying way to much to my liking, should pick up some gear from the ah but I'll struggle on till I'm lvl 60 and can get some decent good pieces!
Peace to all you MONKees and drinking is healthy if you don't overdo it and it seems lots of people did overdo it, seeing all the drunk off topic in the off topic thread.

Sounds good! I like strawberry + cream cheese crepes the best, but I've not had very many different kinds.
Do you mostly eat sweet crepes or do you also had the pleasure of having a hardy crepe, like with bacon and cheese.
I wonder if monkees like crepes aswell I didn't have the change to test it on monkey mountain, cause we where not allowed to feed em crepes.
I think MONKees do like crepes or would like em if they aver ate one, else there is something very very wrong, its better to die fighting diablo with a belly full of delicious crepes then with a belly full of whatever a MONKee eats.

I haven't really tried much real sushi, but what little I had I didn't particularly enjoy. The texture was just too...alien. Between the fish and the rice and the stuff in between it just made my mouth feel strange, which is always a bad thing.

I eat tako sashimi (Sushi means "with rice" if don't like the rice order sashimi) for the unique texture as much as the flavor.
It's like a cross between hard jello and soft rubber, and tastes like the ocean.
Try the cooked stuff - Yellowtail cheek and or collar is excellent, Salmon skin hand-rolls, dragon roll or softshell crab etc.
Sashimi is pretty awesome. If you ever can get it, try bluefin tuna.

Bluefin here is crazy expensive and almost nonexistent, but I shall keep that in mind. I will also remember to try some of the cooked stuff next time, and definitely sashimi. I didn't know what anything was when I tried it, so I just let my friends order for me. They chose...poorly.

I think you need to get good quality fish.
Bluefin tuna actually comes from my state, it is rare and expensive, but tasty.

When it comes down to it, I just prefer meat to fish, and I'd rather spend the big bucks on buffalo tenderloin or antelope filet than bluefin. Both of those are worth dying for, by the way.
I enjoy meat too, though I have not had either of those meats. I assume antelope would taste similar to deer (as in fairly gamey?).

Actually, when I had it it wasn't the least bit gamey. I had the same reasoning as you on that, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, which I can only describe as the best beef you could ever have, but better. It was like eating a piece of an angel.

Interesting, gamey is never a bad thing IMO, I like gamey food (just needs to be cooked properly).
I like all kinds of food, be it meat or fish, though salmon and the like are not my favourite fish, mostly white fish.
I've eaten pretty weird things so far: monkey brains, fried grashopper, vanilla ice cream with ants in chocolat sauce, crocodile, snake and so much more.
I do like me some hardy crepe from time to time, if you try to make one, just leave out the sugar when making the dough (if you want a lighter dough use half milk and half sparkling water) throw the dough in a pan throw in the other ingredienst you want with it when its half done, or fully done depends on how you want it.
Try goat cheese, bacon and rocket lettuce (the lettuce when you plate it up, you don't want it warm).
I'm also a big fan of the eastern cuisine, sushi, sashimi, dim sum, teriyaki, dumplings, ramen and so on.

How gamey food needs to be cooked varies just like any meat, some works great as bloody steak, some needs hours of cooking time and then there's those that can be done either way. Lamb brains is similar, the only real difference is the size and shape, so the texture is lightly different but the taste is the same.
Gamey meat is fine but indeed different kind of game needs different style of cooking, wild boar for example is awsome in a stew but its very stringy as a steakish thing, but indeed it has a strong flavour so it needs the right vegetables and sauce to go with it. But indeed more for us if people do not like it!

The most common game food I get here is Kangaroo, which is so lean it needs to be cooked medium rare. I agree that some food needs to be cooked for a longer time, (things like beef cheeks), what I hate is when people spoil a nice fillet steak by cooking in Well done .....

Kangaroo is quite tasty, unfortunately rather rare to find over here. Of the local stuff moose is probably my favourite, though reindeer isn't too bad either.
I second the well done part, I like my steak medium rare, kangaroo is indeed tasty.

Practicing some caution is adviced when using unicorn horn dust, do not try and snort it, it feels like a unicorn kicked you in the head.
Its not like magicall pixie dust which feels like a soft pillow on your brain.
Nor does it resemble the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Galactic_Gargle_Blaster#Pan-Galactic_Gargle_Blaster)which is the alcoholic equivalent of a mugging - expensive and bad for the head" and feels like "having your brain smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick"

Yea, we're insane, but it's really the only way to keep from going crazy.

Thanks. Loving the NV buff! Found so many rare items, and even a couple upgrades. Killed Azmodan just now, and got 4 achievements in 1. I basically had to get 2 of them to even kill him though, and that would be hell Azmodan kill, and to kill him without being hit by the fireball. He 1 shot me with it, and I got 30k hp and 145 all res (well poison is 2xx and arcane 150 or so). The last two I got was to kill him without letting any demons through the demon gates, and killing azmodan without killing a single of the spawned demons. That felt pretty great, especially since he also dropped 4-5 blues and 2-3 rares. :jig:

Well I'm now on Inferno! :D
Me and a friend blasted through hell Act 4, and killed Diablo with ease on the first try. However most memorable moment was when a champion pack dropped 2 rare items for me (and a couple blues). The two rare items were named (unid) Sniper Bow and Deadeye Quiver. Kinda amusing both main and off-hand for DH dropped, both with cool names. Ofc the names once they were identified wasn't as awesome of a combo. >_>

You know it! Awesome party! Got to meet a lot of old friends, talked to many nice people, listened to good music, and drank some good alcohol. Funny thing is, I've known about the party for some time, but I didn't know where I would sleep. Not a big issue though, since I'm not so picky about it, but until around 8 pm Saturday when I arri ed at the party, I didn't know where to sleep. However I got a nice bed, awesome company, and its 4 am now. :D
Bug if nothing else, I knew quite a few people at the partyx so if nothing else, I'd art least always have a place to crash. :D

WOOT WOOT WOOT! Found my second legendary (in over 100 hours played), in hell difficulty. Giant Skull, but since I'm not a barb, a friend of mine who is got to borrow it. ^_^
Also spent almost a mio gold making hellish staff of herding, so now I'm down to only 130k gold. >_> But it was fun seeing that area, and it seems like a reasonable place to farm besides act 3 and 4, since I noticed a ilvl 60 and 61 item, alongside quite a bit of gold! :jig:

Got a nice present from D3 earlier. A 900 dps crossbow with 80 dex and 120 vit, 3% of damage dealt converted to life and empty socket! :D

Well I'm only in act 1, and I can so far take a hit or 3 from champions or so, which isn't too bad for farming. Basically managed to get 5 stacks the other day, and that was my first goal for inferno, to survive and kill championpacks without too much trouble in order to farm it. :D

I killed my first elite pack in inferno this weekend it took me 15-20 minutes but they died! (I did die a few times aswell)
I think I'll stick to hell act3 farming a while longer and hope for some decent loot.

Hmmm. Interesting first day at work. Apparently I'm to be the only on site support guy for about 100 people, keep maintenance of the computers, and an inventory list, as well as other things. Not quite what I expected, but really stoked to try my hands at the position! :jig:

Next projects: Budget Monk, or crazy CC/tank Witch Doctor which apparently costs less than 3 million to build using Chance on CC gear. I've been coming across a lot of Asian players with these fantastically AWESOME builds in public games so far, and a part of me wants to post them all on the forums to share...too lazy at the moment!

Yea I'm used to getting up at around 7 am for work as well, but with the long travel distance to work, I have to be up earlier. My bus from right outside the house leaves at 6.55 so it's almost an hour each way. Or at least an hour to work, a little less from work depending on if I catch the 4.10 pm bus, or stay longer at work, and have to take a different bus. In any case I'll have to find something to do with all that traveling time. xD
All that travel time would kinda suck. At least you don't have to drive though, so you can do what you want.
What we really need is a ranged build. Here's to hoping that there's more in store in future patches.
Yea, the very little ranged stuff that we have really isn't viable. It'd be cool if they let you use a bow/xbow and use some of your longer reaching skills without automatically going into melee range.

Was doing a quick mf run just now, and in the courtyard before Leoric's Manor I encountered a yellow and blue pack close to eachother. Together they had invulnerable minions, desecrator, arcane enchanted, waller (both packs) and fast (both packs) and I believe 1 had teleport. Nasty thing, but killed them without a single death in my mf equipment. Which is only 75% extra mf but still. :D
Getting quite comfortable with the arcane kiting as opposed to blizzard/hydra. And I can look at big pretty numbers, like 70k and stuff. ^_^

From personal experience I would say that pure stat-wise you should aim for at least
~10k dps, 600 all res & ~4k armor for act 1 Inferno
~12k dps, 750 all res & ~6k armor for act 2 Inferno
~18k dps, 900 all res & ~8k armor for act 3 Inferno
I'm guessing a bit for act 3 as I currently have ~13k dps, 750 all res and 7k armor and I have a hard time there.

I want to say that is enough. As long as you can withstand the basic melee hits, the rest is just tactical positioning and movement. I can tell you though that 700 AR with 30K life is about the point where you can stand in lasers and puddles with relative impunity :thumbup:

Agree. a bit more resist and defense and he'll be fine. The DPS isn't really that important in act 1.
I believe the Butcher's DPS enrage is around 12K DPS with 100% uptime, but at 700 AR, you're basically so tanky that you could tank him in the fire and it wouldn't even matter. Of course, don't forget to juggle your cool downs and two health cauldrons in the corner appropriately!

It was an impulse buy, and even though I decided to go for it, I felt a bit bummed out that it could only take 8 GB of storage. However reading a bit at home, and I've come to realize it supports a MicroSD chip of 32 GB! :jig:
Probably a bit overkill for a device mostly being used to play music on, but I've been without an MP3 player for a while, and felt like spending some money. ^_^
Sounds nice, the SD card is a nice feature. I just use my phone for that as it works just fine.

I could probably have just used my phone as well, but I've used an mp3 player for quite a few years, so i just felt like getting a new one. Maybe when this one breaks, I will stick to using the phone. :P
Only downside to where I bought the thing from is that they had to order it, so it arrives in the stores on Monday. Upside to this is that i can get and SD card while im there. :D

Those Act 3 Quillback elite mobs. Their melee attacks actually hit harder than their ranged spine-shooting attack. The latter is more annoying for a ranged class though.

So after a few days of gearing up, I'm now capable of act1 inferno with these stats:
9xx LOH, 14k ish dps, 300 @res, 30k ish life, 5k ish armor.
I do have some problems with elite packs and I tend to die quite a few times if I'm not positioning correctly or I get cornered, but at least I got to the butcher and kicked his ***, got grabbed by his ancient spear once and botched the achievement but I'll try that again and then we will see (I could go back to normal, but I'm to proud to bypass achievements like that).
So I can now gear up in act1 then move on to act2.

Haha yea I don't see myself leaving for some time. Haven't even gotten 1 of each class in D3 to 60 on softcore, nevermind hardcore! Plenty achievements left to find, and plenty content left to clear. ^_^
And as long as Diablo is part of my life, I'll most likely hang out here. Heck even after I stopped playing D2, I was around posting. ;)

It is funny, whenever i play mafia I am always suspicious of kegs. I think it is because his meta in mafia is different to the forums. Probably why I am overly suspicious of Noodle too.

There is a game hosted by Thy in the spf. There is a semi-mafia like game in the commie but it's full and is very short. Then there's a game sign up starting in a week or so in the commie forum also
Shame I missed that mini one, sounds like fun :)
