Looks very good and very expensive.

What do you think of a monitor like this?
http://www.acuista.com/en/x/1300595-samsung-syncmaster-s22b300b-ls22b300bs-en/

I don't have that much money as it is, so the price is appealing.

kestegs
15-04-2012, 23:02
I had a 19" before this one, took a bit to get used to but I absolutely love it now.

Skjolde
15-04-2012, 23:02
btw I had this one before. http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/acer-h233h/4505-3174_7-33529135.html

Just so you know what I was used to.

Skjolde
15-04-2012, 23:02
Yea, I'm not sure that I want to downgrade the size of my monitor. even though it's only1,5"

Muggs
15-04-2012, 23:16
Going to a smaller size is noticeable but you will get used to it quickly and probably not realize it after awhile.

Skjolde
15-04-2012, 23:19
Guess your right. For a low budget, what did you think of the first monitor that I linked?

Muggs
15-04-2012, 23:21
I am guessing they don't have price club type stores in denmark. Here they go by names like Costco, Sams Club, etc. Since here you can get great stuff for very cheap. But that 1st monitor should serve you well and if you ever get a bit more money in the future it will work as a great 2nd monitor.

Skjolde
15-04-2012, 23:25
Well we got "cheap stores", but this is as cheap as it gets I suppose.

Muggs
15-04-2012, 23:30
Samsung makes good low priced monitors that usually look very good. So I am sure you will be happy with it.

kestegs
15-04-2012, 23:32
Yes, 1.5" won't be noticeable after a few days.

korialstraz
16-04-2012, 02:52
Sorry I needed to leave Kori. My monitor acted weird. All blurry and stuff. Maybe I foresee a new monitor purchase tomorrow.

How large is your monitor?

No problem. My friend filled me in when I got back. >_>

Stomach was acting up, which is one of the reasons I'm still up. Sucks trying to sleep when you need a trip to the loo every 10 minutes. =P

Anyway I use a 24" monitor, and I wouldn't want to have it any smaller with that. It has 1920x1200 resolution and supposedly 4 ms response time. Basically so long as it's not much higher than 6, it should be plenty for gaming. Although don't get too slow of a response time, since you can notice a... ghosting effect? Can't remember the exact term, but during action packed scenes in movies, or fast paced games, you'll notice the monitor can't quite keep up so to speak.

Apart from that I'd say anything between 21"-27" where for me 24" is the best. Personal preference after having used that for quite some time. Although if you ever plan on having 2 monitors, it might not be wise to go with 27", unless you have a lot of space on your dekstop.

kestegs
16-04-2012, 02:58
I have no clue what my response time is. Any idea how to figure it out?

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 06:28
Google fu!

kestegs
16-04-2012, 11:44
I did Google it, but the test was really confusing and complicated.

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 12:06
Test?
Just google your monitor?
????
Profit!

Jcakes
16-04-2012, 12:08
Test?
Just google your monitor?
????
Profit!

kegs isn't that smart :D

kestegs
16-04-2012, 12:39
Well....that would require finding the model number...

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 12:42
Look behind your monitor.
????
????
???
Profit!

kestegs
16-04-2012, 14:21
It's 26" actually...even better!

Only has 8ms response though. Never noticed any ghosting.

Jcakes
16-04-2012, 14:26
kegs is getting schooled :D

kestegs
16-04-2012, 14:51
Nah, it's a great monitor, couldn't be happier!

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 16:34
I bought mine today! Can't remember if it was the one that I linked to yesterday. http://www.proshop.dk/Skaerm/Samsung-24-SyncMaster-S24A350H-2258239.html

kestegs
16-04-2012, 17:03
Looks nice

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 17:06
I guess! Atleast I could afford it, and my old monitor was terribly outdated.

And you know the old saying: Any upgrade is an upgrade!

korialstraz
16-04-2012, 19:55
Looks like a nice monitor indeed, although it doesn't look like you can raise/lower it is that correct? I miss that function on my current monitor, as I would've liked it to be slightly higher. Not a huge deal though.

kestegs
16-04-2012, 20:33
That's why mine sits on a phone book!

Skjolde
16-04-2012, 20:34
No I can't adjust it. But the set adjustement seems fine as is.

korialstraz
16-04-2012, 22:10
Lol Kegs. Nice use of books... you are supposed to read them though! :P

That's good SK. Would suck if it wasn't. >_>

kestegs
16-04-2012, 23:40
Well I'm not about to read them.

z00t
16-04-2012, 23:43
I do the same - old uni books :P.

It's like simultaneously solving a storage issue, too :P.

kestegs
16-04-2012, 23:55
Ya, for sure! I may make a nice stand when I rearrange my desk though.

z00t
17-04-2012, 00:07
My desk is too small for anything other than my monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. It's a small desk - no fancy drawers or anything, but it gets the job done :P.

kestegs
17-04-2012, 00:22
I've got plenty of room, it's just disorganized room right now.

Jcakes
17-04-2012, 13:07
I really want a dual monitor setup. Need to work on the wife though :D

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 13:34
Why would she be against it? Because of the prize or how it would look?

Jcakes
17-04-2012, 13:44
price mainly, I can sort of understand.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 14:05
You get a new monitor, she gets a horse.

Asians loves horses.

Jcakes
17-04-2012, 14:09
You get a new monitor, she gets a horse.

Asians loves horses.

sig worthy I think Kegs has been usurped

Muggs
17-04-2012, 14:22
You get a new monitor, she gets a horse.

Asians loves horses.

LOL!

And dual monitor is the way to go! I could never go back.

Jcakes
17-04-2012, 14:38
What are the two monitors you run Muggs?

If I remember you have a 4x3 and a 16x10?

Muggs
17-04-2012, 14:51
I have a dell 27" @2560x1440(16:9) and a Samsung 21" @1600x1200(4:3) - The reason I stick with that samsung is it is a color accurate monitor so it helps with my workflow. When I replace the 27" with a 30" I will run both of those but who knows when that will be.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 15:00
I don't think that the GF will let me get a second monitor:(

kestegs
17-04-2012, 16:38
I would love a second, but my wife would kill me.

Lol, sk, awesome quote xD

http://promotions.newegg.com/NEemail/Apr-0-2012/48hoursale17/index-landing.html?nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL041712&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL041712-_-EMC-041712-Index-_-E0-_-PromoWord

2 things in there. A 23" monitor for 140$ which is a good price. The other is D3. Not sure what the deal is, but I am curious.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 17:15
How much discount do you get?

kestegs
17-04-2012, 17:20
That's what I was trying to figure out.

Found it, had to enter it at checkout. Oh wow, 10$ off the game, that's a good deal! They probably don't offer release date delivery though.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 17:25
And if I read it correctly, it was only for the next 48 hours?

What kind of company is it?

kestegs
17-04-2012, 19:44
That's the company that I bought my computer from, very reputable. They sell computer and electronics parts.

Yes, looks like a 48 hour sale.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 20:01
I would really like a new computer.

How much did you use on yours?

kestegs
17-04-2012, 20:12
About $700. Not too bad really.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 20:26
No that's not too bad. I seem to remember that you build it yourself?

kestegs
17-04-2012, 21:23
Yea, muggs helped me pick it all out and I assembled it all.

Muggs
17-04-2012, 21:38
The most budget friendly diablo slayer built to date. :cloud9:

kestegs
17-04-2012, 21:43
Haha! I'm sure we could have gone a bit cheaper and still ran D3 :p

Muggs
17-04-2012, 21:49
Yeah but you were a bit future proofed too. In case they decided to add a bit extra in an Xpac like they have been known to do for their other games.

kestegs
17-04-2012, 21:50
Yea, I'm not complaining, I spent as much as I had, which is what I wanted :D

I'm happy to be future poof.

Skjolde
17-04-2012, 23:12
What did the wife say about the prize?

kestegs
17-04-2012, 23:41
I saved up my allowance, so there wasn't much she could say, but she still thought I was stupid for spending that much.

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 00:25
I saved up my allowance, so there wasn't much she could say, but she still thought I was stupid for spending that much.

how cute, you have an allowance :D

kestegs
18-04-2012, 00:36
Yea, the kids are jealous because I get so much more than them :p

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 00:42
Yea, the kids are jealous because I get so much more than them :p

LOL.

What is your allowance out of interest?

kestegs
18-04-2012, 00:53
$40 a month :D

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 01:07
$10 a week ... I got more than that when I was in high school :D

kestegs
18-04-2012, 03:27
GTFO of my thread!

-.-

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 04:00
Sorry kegs :D.

How much of an allowance does your wife get?

kestegs
18-04-2012, 04:36
Same as me.

I don't think I even had an allowance in high school, I had a job.

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 04:45
I had a job through uni, but not during school.

Skjolde
18-04-2012, 07:08
I've had a job since college.

You don't have an allowance cakes?

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 11:53
I've had a job since college.

You don't have an allowance cakes?

not exactly, I just talk her into letting me buy stuff :D.

kestegs
18-04-2012, 12:32
I got a job when I was 16.

cakes' wife is his sugar mama, he gets whatever he wants.

Jcakes
18-04-2012, 12:48
I earn money too, she just earns a good 20% more than me .....

kestegs
18-04-2012, 13:03
Yea, that's why I said that :D

Skjolde
18-04-2012, 15:49
I completely forgot. What is it, that your wife does for a living?

kestegs
18-04-2012, 16:26
Right now she is a preschool teacher, but that was just temporary, after this school; year she'll go back to being a stay at home mom.

Skjolde
18-04-2012, 16:38
If I may ask, why was it temporary? Didn't she really want to? Or was the position just temporary?

Leopold Stotch
18-04-2012, 18:28
$10 a week ... I got more than that when I was in high school :D

hey, you got an allowance! I'm sure if I wasn't in dance I would've have gotten one. Wait a minute...

*remembers who her parents are*

No, i wouldn't have! LMAO!!

Jcakes
19-04-2012, 01:02
hey, you got an allowance! I'm sure if I wasn't in dance I would've have gotten one. Wait a minute...

*remembers who her parents are*

No, i wouldn't have! LMAO!!

I had to use that money to pay for bus tickets, anytime I wanted to go out with friends etc.

Skjolde
19-04-2012, 06:53
I had allowance in High School. But I didn't in College.

But then again, I got SU (Danish word for something like Educational Economical Support.) when I turned 18.

Jcakes
19-04-2012, 08:27
I didn't get an allowance through college and ended up working full time during the breaks.

Skjolde
19-04-2012, 08:35
Yea, I mostly worked full time, when the school year ended.

Leopold Stotch
19-04-2012, 21:31
i worked part time during school, full time before college, went to college full time and worked part time as a waitress/bartender. it was pretty stressful but manageable. i never did more than 12 hours though and that combined with a part time job was pretty tough. Kids who went to school for 15-17 hours it was like, "Are you serious?! Wow!"

I'm hoping to pay off school and get one class. I'll be lucky if i can do two. I figure that it's better than nothing, ya know?

Skjolde
19-04-2012, 21:39
I'm just glad that I have no debt at the moment.

That may change when I begin to study at the University thought. We'll see how much I can be able to work beside that.

Leopold Stotch
19-04-2012, 22:15
my debt isn't that bad compared to others... still though... >.>

Skjolde
19-04-2012, 22:18
If I may ask, how much is your debt?

Leopold Stotch
19-04-2012, 22:19
close to 900 USD.

Skjolde
19-04-2012, 22:23
Well, luckily that's not a whole lot.

Jcakes
20-04-2012, 00:59
My HECS debt at the end of uni was around $36,000. However it is a special kind of debt that is only indexed to inflation and you only have to pay off if you are making money.

korialstraz

Diablo 3 open beta weekend! Who's with me!?

TIME TO SLAY DEMONZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig:

Diablo 3 open beta weekend! Who's with me!?

TIME TO SLAY DEMONZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig: :jig:

As much as I would like to play with you Kori I think the open beta servers might be a bit of a cluster F ...

Jcakes
20-04-2012, 13:22
I may play, just to play with some people I haven't played with yet :D

korialstraz
20-04-2012, 13:25
As much as I would like to play with you Kori I think the open beta servers might be a bit of a cluster F ...

Yea I think you're right. But I don't care, I'll still try and see if I can play through with at least Wizard and Monk.

I may play, just to play with some people I haven't played with yet :D

We should definately play once open beta goes live! :D

Assuming the servers can hold up. >_>

Skjolde
23-04-2012, 10:51
Woah!

Kegs get back here!

Jcakes
23-04-2012, 11:23
He varnished .

Muggs
23-04-2012, 12:49
He was back for a sec then disappeared. I didn't play any open beta but I got to talk to Kori over the weekend. That just leaves Kestegs, Leo, and SK and I think I got everyone. I even got to hear a peep out of Kimiko and I mean literally a peep.

kestegs
23-04-2012, 12:55
If I may ask, why was it temporary? Didn't she really want to? Or was the position just temporary?

She did it because we needed money. She will be homeschooling our kids next year so she won't be able to work.

He varnished .

Lol

He was back for a sec then disappeared. I didn't play any open beta but I got to talk to Kori over the weekend. That just leaves Kestegs, Leo, and SK and I think I got everyone. I even got to hear a peep out of Kimiko and I mean literally a peep.

I am back, slowly getting up to speed.

You heard Kimmi?

Jcakes
23-04-2012, 13:29
I heard kimmi too, she said Yo.

Edit: and I finally got to speak to Muggsy.

Muggs
23-04-2012, 14:11
I am not sure I even got that much out of kimiko it was definitely a peep or perhaps a squeek.

Skjolde
23-04-2012, 14:17
I have heard her speak a sentence once in a while.

/feels special.

kestegs
23-04-2012, 14:42
I think I have heard a couple one worders out of her, but that's it.

I should have got on mumble this morning, maybe tomorrow.

Muggs
23-04-2012, 14:51
I am working all week but perhaps friday morning I will be on. I may be on tonight too but the only Aussie we get at night is Autti since Jcakes is always working.

kestegs
23-04-2012, 15:52
Actually I doubt I'll have time tomorrow, I have a meeting at 6:15am

It's going to be a busy work week for me too.

Jcakes
24-04-2012, 00:28
I am working all week but perhaps friday morning I will be on. I may be on tonight too but the only Aussie we get at night is Autti since Jcakes is always working.

yeah sorry about that Muggs. Weekends, I can be on during your evening.

Muggs
24-04-2012, 02:17
No worries RL > mumble

kestegs
24-04-2012, 02:18
No worries RL > mumble

Apparently. :D

Muggs
24-04-2012, 02:23
Wow that was a fast reply. Were you waiting with your hand on the f5 button?

kestegs
24-04-2012, 02:28
Just so happened to click it at the right time, it actually showed cakes as the last poster when I clicked it.

And I'm on my phone of course :p

Muggs
24-04-2012, 02:30
Still super speed of posting. My guess is you are making up for lost time.

kestegs
24-04-2012, 03:50
What's gone is lost.

Jcakes
24-04-2012, 07:31
Unless you build a time machine.

Skjolde
24-04-2012, 11:05
And you need a car for that.

hucca
24-04-2012, 11:09
Nice to meet you all. Im the new monk fan boy after the Open Beta weekend. :jig:

Kestegs, I hope you have fast typing fingers because Im determined to play my "Chuck Norris" on 15th!

Skjolde
24-04-2012, 11:28
Uh! Is this the Chuck that I played with? :)

kestegs
24-04-2012, 18:08
Names are not unique, so we can both have it :p

And you need a car for that.

Or a hot tub

hucca
24-04-2012, 20:05
Not so, in Open Beta I had "hucca" :)

Skjolde
24-04-2012, 20:37
Aw:( I played with one named Chuck Norris.

Still looking forward to play with you!

kestegs
25-04-2012, 03:22
I mean we could both have one named Chuck Norris.

korialstraz
25-04-2012, 23:22
Finally got around to watching Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End. >_>

I think I should get some sleep soon. :P

Jcakes
25-04-2012, 23:42
you know they have made a 4th movie since then :D

korialstraz
25-04-2012, 23:45
Damn you Jcakes! I don't have the stamina to sit up and wait for a movie to download before watching it!

Hehe kidding kidding. =P And yea I knew. Sort of at least, as I've not read anything about it, but the ending to At Worlds End was pretty much a dead giveaway that there was going to be another movie. >_>

kestegs
26-04-2012, 00:15
It's usually pretty obvious when there is another movie planned. Very annoying.

Jcakes
26-04-2012, 02:31
I don't think it is necessarily planned, they generally leave most movies open for a sequel so that if it does well at the box office they can make one. No sense in closing a story if you don't have to :D

kestegs
26-04-2012, 04:12
Yea, but some are far more obvious than others.

Jcakes
26-04-2012, 04:45
Like the James Bonds of old which would have in the title sequence "James Bond will return in ....."

Such Violent Storms
26-04-2012, 05:05
Bruce Lee or Jet Li?

Jcakes
26-04-2012, 05:11
I don't think Bond returns in Bruce Lee

Such Violent Storms
26-04-2012, 05:45
That's an entire thing right there: Bond, now able to take control of dead people.

Maybe not.

Jcakes
26-04-2012, 07:04
Bruce Lee would have made a nice villain for James Bond to take on :)

kestegs
26-04-2012, 13:06
But they are generally both good guys, why would they fight?

Jcakes
26-04-2012, 13:38
to be the best good guy?

kestegs
26-04-2012, 14:16
But then the winner would be evil for defeating a good guy.

Skjolde
26-04-2012, 14:23
Yea, but it's opposite day.

Muggs
26-04-2012, 14:34
It is not!

korialstraz
26-04-2012, 14:36
Going to the gym later today. Hopefully we'll pace ourselves a bit better than last time. xD

Skjolde
26-04-2012, 14:36
I see what you did there:)

kestegs
26-04-2012, 18:07
But if it's opposite day then they are both evil?

Good luck at the gym, Korial.

Jcakes
27-04-2012, 00:21
I am starting to think this is how movies get made in hollywood.

korialstraz
27-04-2012, 00:37
I see what you did there:)

Huh? I don't. >_>

Good luck at the gym, Korial.

Thanks. Spent about an hour and 15 mins, pushing myself a bit more, even though we had slightly longer breaks in between. I'm going to be sore tomorrow. >_>

Skjolde
27-04-2012, 00:37
But if one evil destroys another evil, does that make him good?

GO TO BED KORI!

Jcakes
27-04-2012, 00:44
If I get the new job my new work has a free gym (that is actually rather nice). I might actually end up going then.

Skjolde
27-04-2012, 00:58
I usually just go for a jog, when I feel the need.

Jcakes
27-04-2012, 01:03
That is what I normally do as well, plus cycle to work.

kestegs
27-04-2012, 02:33

But I didn't

Or did I?

korialstraz
27-04-2012, 10:42
But if one evil destroys another evil, does that make him good?

GO TO BED KORI!

I did at 3 am. :P

Atm I've starting ****ing up my sleeping rythm. Wasn't too bad before the open beta weekend. >_<

Skjolde

You have to get back on track!

So that you can screw it up on the 15th again:)

korialstraz
27-04-2012, 12:18
Aye you got a point there.

I've actually begun preparing. I'm starting by making room in my fridge/freezer for pizza, cola, energy drinks and some other foods and whatnot. Also need to clean my appartment, as well as cleaning out my comp for dust. Then next weekend a trip to visit my family before I bunker down for several days of D3 marathon! :D

Also 1 last detail which may or may not work out. A friend of mine said he had bought some caffeine pills while in Sweden, so need to ask him if he has enough to sell me some. :P

Edit: Oh and as a friend of mine pointed out, make some arrangements for a funeral. Just in case I game myself to death. xD

Muggs
27-04-2012, 12:24

I hope bash was right about the difficulty.

All joking aside. I'm quite interested to see how long it will take, before the first group clears inferno.

korialstraz

Nah better find yourself something else to keep dat time rollin' until D3 hits the shelves!

Aye it should. :D

In short the movie is about a runaway train with dangerous cargo, and they're trying to stop it from derailing in a large city.

work is not a bad idea.

I wish I had a job. Then again if I suddenly got a new job now, then I most defiantely would not get some free days off after D3 launches. >_>

Need a shower before I go to the store. But damn I'm so sore still. Hurts like hell just to hold my arm out straight. xD Luckily I have food, so only need some snus. Maybe I'll pick up some alcohol too. :D

I had the interview for the two jobs yeterday. Went ok, not fantastic. They asked some really tricky questions....

korialstraz
28-04-2012, 09:04
Ahh yes the tricky questions! I actually think I lost a job because of one. Or at least it was a contributing factor, but all I did was answer honestly. Pretty certain I mentioned it her, but in short she asked what I'd do before starting a job had she said I got it. Well a couple days (in other words over the weekend) to prepare and get my sleeping rythm back on track. That apparently worried her. I mean doesn't my time at school with next to zero absence count for something? Some years I literally have less than 3 days of absence IIRC. >_> But she apparently was afraid I'd not be able to get up in the morning, despite my reassurance that I've got no problems with it.

Jcakes
28-04-2012, 09:56
Yeah never answer honestly :).

I had questions such as "What management style do you prefer", "How would you obtain critical information from a difficult person" "how would you talk an operator that has been operate the plant for 20 years into do something a different way" etc.

korialstraz
28-04-2012, 10:05

Yeah never answer honestly :).

I had questions such as "What management style do you prefer", "How would you obtain critical information from a difficult person" "how would you talk an operator that has been operate the plant for 20 years into do something a different way" etc.

I usually stay pretty honest with those questions.

I usually stay pretty honest with those questions.

You're right ofc, I don't lie, but I wouldn't say what korial said about getting my sleeping pattern back on track.

I answered all of those questions honestly. I think the most interesting question I got was

"The current process we have in place for processing the natural gas includes to liquid recovery plants LRP A and LRP B. ATM LRP B is getting more ethane breakthrough than LRP A, why do you think that is?"

korialstraz
28-04-2012, 13:30
Oh I wouldn't have answered that myself either, but didn't have a better answer atm, and it was the first thing I sort of blurted out without thinking that interview. It may be because I didn't get any sleep the previous night, so I'd been awake for about 20-24 hours straight IIRC. =P

kestegs
28-04-2012, 14:23
There's not much to say really. I didn't really realize it was an interview and I thought that I already had the job so I just acted kinda cocky I'd guess.

Btw the books are even darker so to speak than the TV show. For any of you who have watched it, do you remember that girl who marries Drogo? She's according to the books no more than 13. :o

Skjolde
29-04-2012, 17:48
Yea. I think the TV show did a great job, but the book is still better.

korialstraz
29-04-2012, 19:40
Can't speak much for the books yet, but they did a great job the the series indeed!

I can understand also why they couldn't have some of the cast be as young as they said in the books. Child pornography and all that. A lot of people would frown upon it.

Bare in mind that technically this is set in medievalish times, where women got married off as soon as they "flowered". I think they attempted to make the women look as young as possible without violating those laws.

Not.

being married to a recovering alcoholic is no fun.

Jcakes
30-04-2012, 23:48
Yeah that is probably hard. How long was your wife an alcoholic? Did it start before you were married (that is not a loaded question, I am curious as she was 19 iirc when you were married, and I think the limit is 21 in the states)

I'll drink Root Beer though - amen to that! :loving:

Root beer is decentish, we only get the A&W Root beer IIRC

z00t
01-05-2012, 00:43
Bundaberg root beer is dead good. We just call it Sarsaparilla, but it's the same difference. I get the Diet version these days though, just to watch out for that blood sugar level :loving:.

Jcakes

I did not realise that sarsparilla = root beer.

@Zoot: I assume that means you are Australian? Bundaberg Ginger Beer is pretty awesome too

z00t
01-05-2012, 00:58
Yup - root beer is brewed from sarsaparilla roots. That's why it's called root beer :).

Not a fan of Ginger Beer, though. I straight-up don't like ginger unless used purely for flavouring purposes in savoury dishes.

And yeah - Melbourne here =p.

I have to say that while this is true historically, I find quite a difference today in the products that are marketed generally as Root Beer and Sasaparilla.

Commercial Root Beer such as A&W, Barq's tend to have more of a sweet vanillia flavor in general
Sasaparilla products have a tendance towards more spiced flavorings with anise and nutmeg, etc.
