Okay.. So in the movie I'm watching, some evil vampires is on their way to a human city in a train. And to stop the train a Motorcycle drives towards it on the railroad tracks, with about 200 mph and when they collide, the train simply explodes. It looked a bit like this:

I have no idea what channel that is. We have a lot of danish channels but only two really big ones. (maybe three).
Both are.. national tv stations, I guess is the word for it. The first one: DR1 has no commercials whatsoever and the second: Tv2 has commercials but not during the shows/movies etc. Only between programs. But it's not just two channels, they both have a lot of other sister channels under them.

I agree that there are a lot of beefs between african and european countries, that haven't been pay backed nearly the same way, as you are doing with the indians. And IMO maybe that's wrong.

Warhammer 40k laststand is a fun co-op for less than $10. It has 2 maps but you face waves and waves of Warhammer enemies and they get progressively harder.

I know, actually I always tell my kids not to use "hate." It doesn't bother me as much when it's used in the context of things though, but I really discourage it's use against people, as it is a bit overused.

Btw hey guys. Was away since last night. Visited a friend and ended up sleeping at his place. Played games until 4 am or so. Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, CS: Source, Left 4 Dead and a couple others. Was pretty fun. :D

Playing co-op with friends is always fun. :D Or even just competing in single player games can be fun. Kinda depends on who you're with though. We did some 1v1 games on CS:S, and we were 3 guys. We just took turns playing against eachother. Although I got beat pretty badly, since I never was a huge CS fan. xD

Of course map design is key to tower defense games. Not so much for those that require you to maze it up, although to some degree map design does count. I don't know if you played any WC3 tower defense maps, but on some it was almost required that do to well on higher difficulty setting, you needed to know where the... god what's the word I'm looking for... I guess know the pathing. Or "waypoints" that are used, and to maze around them. Granted some games have a graphical way of displaying the pathing of the monsters, some don't.
I'm not a huge fan of the Warhammer universe, but I did play Warhammer 40k Spacemarine or whatever that shooter was called. Almost got to max rank in just a few days, so the setting itself does interest me. And I really love those kinds of hero defense kind of games (taking a term from WC3).

I believe I've played something similar before. I actually had to check my steam games list, in case I had the game from before, since I remember playing an indie game based around FPS/TD style gameplay, although there was a lot more focus on the FPS part than TD part imo. That game is called Iron Grip: Warlord. I'll look for a demo in a bit, just waching a couple more vids on YT.

What is your play time? Currently I'm unemployed, so my time is a bit more flexible. Atm it is 6.46 pm here (GMT+1). Usually I play (when i have a job) from around 4.30-5 pm to around midnight or so. Or at least it's my window of opportunity. Now though I have a tendancy to stay up until 2-4 am, sometimes longer, although I am working on changing that around again.

Yes I played TD on WC3 a lot and still play it on SC2. I am a TD addict and will play most TD games I can get my hands on. Last Stand is a lot of fun and the only wave defense game I know of and it does take skill to complete to wave 20 so that is always something that appeals to me. It is like a zoomed in version of Starcraft for gameplay vs spacemarine . Actually all this talk makes me want to reinstall it again.
Yes DD is 4player co-op only but you can get by with 2 as long as one is a wizard or squire. My personal favorite is the huntress so that is what I play when I do play. I just recently remade an account since I lost my info on the other one which is not biggie leveling is fun. I like that there is a leveling system too and weapon upgrades since it adds to replay.
Sanctum is like a space FPS/TD I definitely recommend checking out the demo. It is fun and cheap and worth the $10 or whatever. It goes on sale often too and last time I saw it was $2.
Depends on the day for me but EST is UTC -5:00 and some weeks it is 8pm for me so very late for you but other days it is not so bad.

In other news steam just screwed me over when making a purchase for the first time. It crashed after confirming the paypal purchase, and now the game is listed as pending under my purchase tab. So I can't install it, yet I recieved the mail with my receipt from paypall.
Well I guess I can't complain. It's the first time it's happened in over 120 transactions. Or probably a little less, since some games were bought in bulk during sales. But still.. :P

And the steam purchase has just sorted itself out now. Guess verifying the purchase took a little longer due to steam crashing. But I have to say steam does have a pretty good track record. At least as far as my purchases are concerned. :D

The point is I couldn't store them all inside. :P I kinda want to count all the games I own. I won't count how many individual games I have on steam and seperate them into AAA and indie catagories, so I'll just use that handy menu steam has that lists all your games and tell you how many is there. Have to count my physical ones though.
Alright a rough count (not excluding multiple copies of the same game or expansion), then I have around 200 games. This doesn't include all my old PS1 games (some lost/destroyed while moving), nor the N64 games.

Shared accounts just make life easier although it depends on the relationship. I have friends that prefer to keep a little on the side for themselves but I also think they don't have very open relationships either.

Edit: Completely forgot. Job hunting is really time consuming. -.- I found 2 positions today though! Already applied for one of them, but the other has the job description in English, but it is on a Norwegian site. So I'm a bit uncertain if the application is to be done in English or Norwegian. Trying to find a contact person so I can ask a few questions before sending my application.

It was a job listing for a position here in Norway, which made it even more weird. I apply for a job in Norway, after talking with an English guy living in Denmark, and the application is to be written in English. Actually now that I think about it, the whole thing sounds like a lot of work for "nothing". I'll be working on my CV today though, and send off the application tomorrow I think.

I called a closet my appartment for a year when I went to my first year of ICT classes. I guess it was about 20-25 square meters or so. Might've been slightly less. It wasn't that bad actually. I had my kitchen, bathroom, living room/bedroom. A tv and computer with internet access. I mean sure there wasn't a lot of parties at my place, but I had a friend close by with a proper appartment for that, and my family wasn't that far away either. :P
Had I been asked again though... I'd have chosen a different appartment. =P

When I moved out at 18 my first apartment was about 600 square feet. Now my house is about 1400 finished square feet with another 1000 or so that is unfinished in the basement. 270 square feet seems awful.
Right now me and mmy girlfriend live in a 80 square meter apartment, it has 3 rooms and it's fine. But if we're moving to Copenhagen, which we are sort planning to do, at most we can afford a 50 square meter apartment.
That's just crazy, 50 meters is barely bigger than my living room!

I actually want to say it was slightly smaller. For some reason 18 square meter sticks out like a sore thumb in my head, but don't think it was really that small. I basically had 2 rooms. The kitchen/living room/bedroom. Kitchen was in one side, the rest on the other. I had a couch that doubled as a bed with a small table next to it. Then right next to my entrance I had another table used for my computer. My tv was standing om top a small drawer where I had my clothes.
The second room was my bathroom with a shower in it. Didn't even have enough room for a washing machine, not to mention a dryer, so had to go back every weekend or two to get my clothes washed at my parents. >_>
But it was the only place I could find in time before school started. So had to rent this overpriced place for a year. But at least the money I recieved for school support covered the appartment too, since I lived x kilometers away from my parents.

Most apartments here that are around 600 sq ft don't have washers or dryers so you are forced to use some kind of community laundry facility that you pay for.
600 sq tf. is that 60 square meters? My first apartment didn't have washer/dryer, nor dishwasher for that matter.
Yea dishwashers often don't make an appearance at that size either. 600 ft sq= about 56 sq M, so yea, pretty close.
Here in our 80 sq meter apartment we got washer/dryer AND a dishwasher. Plus a large balcony. Pretty happy with this place. Plus we have about 5 meters to the ceiling in the living room.
I miss having a balcony, always thought those were fun.

My basement is almost 2k sqft or 185sq meters. Being in the US definitely spoils you on huge open spaces. My wife watches that show house hunters and house hunters abroad and it always amazes me on what stuff costs per sqft/sqM in europe.
Yea, watched those shows a bit too and it is very shocking what you get for the price.

Oh it was kinda seperate. In different corners, but honestly, it wasn't as inconvenient as it sounds. I could watch tv while making food, and I didn't even need a second tv to do it! :D

BTW on the discussion of house size, I have a 140 square meter (1500 sq feet) unit on 165 square meters of land (1800 sq feet) that I bought ~ 2 years ago for $365,000. I am only about 4km from the city center though.

I really like both games so far. Only did the first level on DD, but it seems fun! Also me and SK did a couple lvls on Sanctum, which is awesome! I was a bit afraid at first, because the difficulty was so easy in solo play. But when you went into co-op it was a whole different thing! So much fun! One thing I don't like as much though is the huge blocks the towers are on. Makes it kinda hard to use some weapons. But I guess we just need to work out a strategy for it.
Also apparently Jcakes sucks!
Please don't beat me for saying that! SK said you were for breaking his balls about playing games or something.
But seriously... you can always find a little extra time for gaming, even when studying. I know I did. :o

I have never measured it but I think I think my room is in the >250sqft range. With half of it empty it actually winds up feeling kind of spacious, though. I wish I had a bathroom to myself, but the rest of this side of the hall is usually out having lives so I am practically alone in here most nights.
I kinda assumed it would be more like a public restroom with several toilets and sinks and showers.
