There is a zone called Halls of Anguish near the end of A1. However, Andariel was Maiden of Anguish, so there are no other aspects left to fight... which makes me think Araneae is not an aspect, and her code supports that.

If anyone can find any more info on this, would be cool.

It seems like before Diablo we will be fighting the "seal bosses", named Aspects. There are 7 of those:

Anguish = Andariel
Lies = Belial
Sin = Azmodan
Pain = Duriel
Terror = Diablo
Hatred = Baal
Destruction = Mephisto

If that's true, then that code is wrong - in that case I don't know. But Queen Araneae still stands as my best bet on A1 boss... There is pretty much nothing else in the files on a potential boss. Whoever she, she is also coded in several places as the Spider Queen - so I assumed she is the Mistress of Pain as well. So maybe she and MoP are both spiders, but simply different monsters.

Oh, OK, if MoP is separate, then Araneae might be

1000pounder is Dressage per another datamined key.

Reason I'm thinking it's Siegebreaker Event is because of all the trees and skeletons before and after his battle. I'm thinking it may be a long scripted event with Siegebreaker as highlight/big bad/loot pinata, sort of like the Broodlord gauntlet or Sindragosa gauntlet in WoW.

Well then my assumption was wrong. It was a long shot anyway, seeing how the Thousand Pounder and Siegebreaker look to be very specific enemies. I consider these type of things huge spoilers, so I haven't looked at the bosses in the leaked data yet.

Indeed, and some are saying that the maiden of lust IS the Spider Queen. I can't remember where, but I'm not sure if it's actually true.
