You refresh the homepage for D3 news every hour in desperate attempt for D3 beta info. After ongoing disappointment of no beta release, you log onto battle.net to play some D2 with your character of choice. Albeit throughout all this process you pray to the heavens that D3 will arrive soon.

Haha thats my story, what your guy's rituals with beta release imminent?

The exact same. Apart from I'm playing Diablo 2 Single player and TCP/IP with my brothers.

im playing sc2 ladder and league of legends for distraction's sakes. it helps pass the time. but i can definitely recognize my own story in yours.

Yup. Just restarted another SP Barb in Diablo II and when not doing that I check DIII news. This wait is killing me.

If Josef Fritzl invited me to play D3 in his new dungeon, I'd actually think for a while before saying no. As it is, I must settle for frantic F5'ing. I can't actually play D2 since I know I'll never touch it again after D3 arrives. And to play anything but a Diablo game in this sacred time would be unthinkable.

I've been playing a DII Sorc again, but only because my D1 disks are lost / damaged. I actually do have a bit of a hankering to roll up a Rogue and head down into the dungeon. Of course, then I remember how unbelievably long it took to walk anywhere in vanilla D1...
