Hi - just getting an m14x laptop next week - I checked my email by chance and fell in love with the graphic palette of the Auction house (IncGamers Daily Diablo from an hour ago) and going giddy at the knees of the burnished mahagony-esque timbre radiating from what I envision is Diablo 3's world.
Full of objects that we'd be happy to just sit back and enjoy the ambiance, calm before the storm if you will.
Then there is you, Sir, I read one of your articles in which you praised what you knew about Path of Exile, and your passion came through.
I've just now seen my first video of it and I want to play it.
But if that is not enough to sway you, please, then let me grovel before you for my poor friend, who is dying with anticipation for the Diablo release date.
He doesn't wish to hear any of the goodies I've been hearing recently regarding Diablo ]I[
(to better experience the complete transition from Diablo 1 & 2 to Diablo 3 graphics (et al) in one immediate bungee-jump moment of sheer terror!)
And I do believe that seeing POE would sate his thirst for D3 goodness.
I would say I could last until the open beta, but that might be lost amongst the Rage and D3 beta and Eve Online ... :)
So, in parting, I shall just say this.
As if by chance, as I clicked with surprise on your email, I had a brief hope it would be the Diablo 3 beta.
A heart flutter of realisation that there was no d3 beside beta,
but a wonderful prize nonetheless.
