Free Enigma

I don't want to use any time on this game so I'm giving away items before I leave. Already gave away almost all my stuff in an open game. I have an enigma left. Would like to trade it away via a small contest.

Rules:

1) Those who have an Enigma already (or are so wealthy they can easily trade for one) should prohibit from entry

2) Only those who plan to use the Enigma should enter (ie, no trading it away...)

These can be summed up as: "YOU DON'T HAVE AN ENIGMA AND YOU REALLY WANT ONE!"

Contest:

Write a short essay about someone you consider a mentor. Someone you can look up to as a role-model. Please choose a famous/historical figure (no family/teachers).

About 800-1000 words (750/1050 ok....500 or 1500 not).

The writing will be judged on it's readability (grammar etc), style (voice), clarity/logic, and how much I like your mentor/reasons. Serious entries only. Entries about Chuck Norris (unless written seriously) will likely be chucked away.

Your homework is due 1 week later. Starting now.

(If you doubt this post, ask in the free giveaway thread about the game I made and how much stuff was on the ground....)

to enter please email the written piece to aejngd at g m a i l dot com

Are you a junior high school teacher or something? Bored now that the kiddos are on summer vacation?

If someone really wants that Enigma I would enter this contest, chances are you're going to be one of a few contestants.

Nah, I teach small children mostly, and am plenty busy with my schedule.

Anyway, I encourage anyone interested in an enigma to enter. Maybe you will find an interesting person and get an enigma at the same time.

And yeah, entries will probably be few, so it would be wise to enter.

It's about finals time for a bunch of schools/colleges (you've already said you were a teacher, but still...). It would be pretty lol awesome if you were basically paying an enigma for someone to do one of your finals for you and someone took you up on the offer. You should post the grade you get on the essay.

Once you find something, just spend 10mins to paraphrase it.

No entries yet! That lone person who writes a half-way decent essay will lay claim to my enigma.
