Does half freeze help against holy freeze in pvp?

How does half freeze work exactly?, I assume it works as expected in pvp by cutting the chill effect by 50%, but what about holy freeze effect?.

It's called half freeze *duration*, not half freeze intensity, and HF is a continuous effect, so half freeze duration cannot work on it as a matter of principle.

even strait "cannot be frozen" doesn't work vs holy freeze.
