Question about cubing superior items

Guys can superior items with %ed or +durability only be socketed by the Lazurk quest or does the cube recipe also work? I am a bit confused with all the information I read about it....

Only way to add sockets to them is by Larzuk, not with cube. And Larzuk gives maximum amount of sockets possible
