I have had this image on my computer for like..I don't know, 6 months? I was going to reread all the books over again so I could verify all the locations I've put the cities, towns, etc. I have put question marks on locations that I'm not sure of, but are estimated to be within those locations. And as we all know, westmarch and bramwell are backwards (as has been said to be fixed, if I could find the quote from bashiok...). So yeah, enjoy everyone. And no, I did not add the locations from D3 (yet).

Let me know corrections and verifications on the question marked locations. And feedback = welcome!

You should switch Westmarch and Bramwell, as Bliz has said they're wrong on the d3 world map.

I’m reading The Black Road right now. I’ve been checking on the map to visualize where they actually are. There is a statement that doesn’t make sense to me. “At the end of the winding road lay the city of Bramwell, a suburb north northwest of Westmarch.” The Diablo III World Map indicates the opposite.

Also, “No one in the city could look southeast toward Westmarch and not see the church first.” That map has got to be wrong.

[B]Bashiok: That’s actually an error we intend to correct with the map and are holding the descriptions from The Black Road as correct.

I think you should also put in the d3 locations; that's what most people are curious about now, I'd imagine. Locations where the various writings of Abdul al Hazir are set, places of origin of the char classes, etc. You could turn the map into a really useful resource.

That's the quote I was talking about in the post I made. The reason I haven't added all the Diablo 3 locations is because their description of their location is only "around this or that area." The locations I have implemented into the map follow the directions according to the books (e.g. traveling to Partha in the southeast). When I have seen a lot more clear descriptions of all the locations, I would have no problem putting them in.

I misread the blue post saying that the black road was the book they're holding as correct. This makes me wonder if there will be a return of Kabraxis, then...

Anyway, there will be an update to the map in the future, no worries! :]
