When it was new, SWG was one of my most memorable game experiences. We all know what happened next. SOE will be a model of how to ruin a brand and a development house for generations to come because of the NGE.

However, if you loved the game or even just found it marginally interesting, that game is living and breathing again.

Its an emulated version of how SWG was prior to the combat upgrade.

Yes, free to play assuming you own the SWG discs.

If you loved SWG, just try SWTOR coming next year. MMO games without proper high-end support and servers? No thanks.

The new Star Wars MMO is going to be Mass Effect in space. While that might be great for console people, it sucks for anyone that loves depth in gameplay.

Or alternatively, if you ever loved Battlestar Galactica.... The F2P version 'Battlestar Galactica Online (http://battlestar-galactica.browsergamez.com/)' is set to go into the Open Beta this week sometime...pretty exciting! Not to mention the Star Trek - Infinite Space online game launching next year. I think my personal life just died!

The just did a huge object restructuring.

If you're a programmer, this was a very good sign. If you're just waiting to play, I'd give it until summer.

Sigh yes. I should have said Kotor in space.

Either way, I have some trepidation that its going to be MMO-Lite
