Smiter question if rabies doesn't work

If your vs a smiter you try rabies and it's doing nothing , my favourite set up is forti gores etoomb European nos ^^ 1 angelic 1 raven bloodfists and jalals . My tactic is to run away get them to charge then shift fury rinse and repeat with 86 fhr even when it looks like your chainlocked they fall over dead , anyone use a different tactic set up ?

Define Rabies doing nothing? Like they're somehow "immune" to the poison damage?

Range 3 weap and walk away from them, Shift Furying when they charge in and using the canceling of Fury to walk away before they can Smite.

Well I've duelled smiters and hammer chars that use alot of stack and antidote stack , so 65 k doese maybe 1 k dam tops and that would be if you walked away the full 20 sec duration . And verash can't believe I've duelled on bloodmoor for 9 years and never noticed the sqaures tnx to you I've noticed a grid on floor , doese angling work vs barbs ww ^^ not tried it yet lol ^^

Hartside: Yes, though it's harder to do since they're in constant attack animation.

aivwaras: It's a technique called "gridding" or "angling" and it abuses the fact that the DII map is based of texture squares. When determining the range a weapon can attack the game calculates that based on the number of squares and not the actual range. You can abuse this by attacking from the diagonols of the squares, giving you exponentially more reach with your weapon.

Do you know anyone that could angle vs ww barbs . I think this explains how an old freind used to kill ww barbs with a cfkq he said there was a trick to it laughed and said he wouldn't tell me ( the git ) hehe he was also one of the top wolves on Europe at the time

You are crazy. If you attempt to fury a good pvp smiter you are unlikely to win. Rabies setup is the only way to go vs smiters. First weaken them out with the rabies strategy then fury them down once there life is getting low when they are not smitting near you.

Well I'm a little different in some strategys minus ;) but like I said sometimes rabies won't weaken qiuck enough to be viable , when that happens I switch to etoomb and put on mass ar it is hard to pull off but it's funny when there life tap pala falls over :)

Exile smiter pallys are horrible. You should be able to take them out with rabies.

2 it gives lifetap
3 also upto 45 res or ed

Strange my smiter had 50 dr stacked res 4.5 k life and ofc max block the 2 shields I used where exile st and a upgraded 200 ed eth hoz and if a wolf rabied me I could tele smite with exile tap ftw . And if I statted for vita ie s v s biuld I could easily hit over 5 k life but I really don't understand your point minuses . And ooo crap I've let the secret out of the bag I played a bow legged pala ;/

My point is that I am completly gm when it comes to duels. I prefer doing private duels so I might have got carried away with that but yeah. Even an SvA should use upped hoz over exile. I see no reason to lose over 500 life for lifetap and tons of defense. Now that is just plain rediculus.
