Just to post a reply it took 32 requests and 21 seconds. Crazy. God knows what all **** is going on behind server side.

You have 32 hops! Wow, that's bad. Looks like you're going all around the houses before you get to the server.

are you sure you had only the forums open?

and what browser are you using opera?

Those are HTTP requests, not hops, as in his browser is sending and receiving a lot of information before submitting his reply. However I use Firefox and in making this reply I only got two requests...

which was the exact reason i wondered if he had more pages running besides the forums :)

We removed the pubgears stuff the other day so perhaps that's made a difference.
