Forum Speed Support Thread

We are aware there have been some speed issues for many of you and I have made some changes to the server today. Please let me know iof things have improved for you in this thread.

It does seem to be loading faster :). :thumbsup: I think loading took about 5 seconds minimum before, and now I feel it's about 3 seconds on average. At least at this moment, it seems to be very consistently 3 seconds, so I consider that a significant improvement. Thanks!

In all honesty I've only had issues with the forum ads. At work where we have a firewall based adblocker the forums load nigh instantly, whereas on my home pc where I'm not using an adblocker as it's prohibited by the ULA the forums might take long to load, depending on which adservers the site's trying to load from.

Big improvements in the last week or so, pages consistently load in less than 5 seconds instead of 5 to 15. Posting and creating new threads also seem much smoother.

Ahh, this is music to my ears KennyTwo because Rush has been making quite a few changes. I haven't said anything in here because I thought I'd jinx it. I have noticed a difference too.

Still loading quite sluggishly for me in chrome and firefox despite excellent internet connection...
