fyi in general, any armor item with +ED (sup white or magic/rare/set/unique) will always have base armor of max+1 for that item type; runewords are obviously the exception

so if monarchs have max of 148 def, any sup monarch with ED will have base of 149...149*1.09=162, rounded :)
