Fishy Gear

I need some advice on gear for my mf fishy.
Current:
Shako ptopaz
AOKL/Baba (switch)
Hom pdiamond
trang scales
tgods
marrows
38 chancies
+3 summon ammy
30 nagel
crap +lit resist/dex ring

my questions is, should i get an arach's? my lit resist is 85, and w 20 abosorb gloams are never a problem...i use my AOKL to raise my army then switch to baba for the mf...

Also on another note, my merc uses a non eth CV insight, guillaume's face, and gris plate...no leech but i usually just run WSK/Baal and Chaos, and he rarely dies... should i socket the gris plate or look for different armor?

Im not having any trouble surviving/killing but im wondering if there is any other setup that would be better for a low budget MF necro.

I have a 38 gheeds and my torch...no anni yet...

I'd stick with the t-gods myself. If gloams are never a problem then you're in a good spot and I wouldn't change that.

Different armor. There are a number of low budget options. Treachery. Duriel's shell. Skin of the Flayed One.

You could experiment with removing pieces of gear and replacing them with more MF and see how you fare. Other than that I wouldn't go spending much currency on your MF necro just to get him gear he doesn't need to MF.

thx for the input, what do you think about switching the marrows for travs? i would lose the +2 sm, but with ~ lvl 40 skele's i dont think it would make that much of a difference

Honestly the only reason I use marrows myself is the dex for max block. Among the boots that add dex I like the SM more than other mods (I don't have the time or the funds to track down a perfect pair of rare boots). If I wasn't going to max block, if the dex didn't count for max block, or if I could afford to be at, say, 60%+ block instead of 75% for whatever area I was MFing in I'd go with war travs.

Travs are better than marrows for a mf character.

Got a duriels shell for my merc, what a difference that made...no more feeding him my rejuv pots...haha...my character is max block, and i do tele quite a bit, (using naj staff) so the extra dex on the marrows would be missed for sure, and i think unless i can find some ~50 mf trav's im going to stick with my marrows. my mf is already approaching 300, so i dont know that the 50% mf would help enough to lose my max block...

With 300 mf and running hell diablo / sanc, you will get very nice drops in no time.
