How Do You Make Games in Open Bnet?

Ok, someone has probably already asked this question, so I apologize in advance. I enjoy using my single player characters on Open Bnet, but I don't know how to create games that people will be able to join. I've heard that it's something about opening your ports, but I don't know what that means or how to do it. Could someone please help me, and walk me through the steps. Also, what are the risks of opening up your ports, if there are any? Thanks!

This forum does not support Open Bnet. There are far to many hacks there.

As far as I know, if you can get onto Closed Bnet, Open is the same.

Opening your ports is useful for TCP/IP and LAN games. There's only one port to open - check the MP Guide Stickied in this forum.
