Hi guys,

I unfortunately only have a minute of free time so this will be short.

Whenever trying to get to any page on diii.net with my iPhone, I get redirected to an ad page where I'm promised to be returned to what I actually asked to see in 30 seconds, or I can click a link to take me there immediately.

Now the problem is that whatever road I take (i.e. whether I wait or press the button, or press back, or press stop and reload) I get re-directed back again to the ad page.

Now I'm definitely not a fan of big ad pages... I'd rather see an ad on the actual page I want to see (which diii.net does as well), but if you MUST have an ad page please get the coding right. I can't view any pages on my iPhone anymore. I'm not sure if it's a Safari thing, or a mobile-to-data-tower connection thing, but it certainly is a thing.

I'm in NSW, Australia if it helps and this problem started about a week or two ago.

Redirecting works fine with desktop machines.

This could be a Safari issue. The ad is based on cookies. If it finds the cookie it will not show the ad again. If you have cookies blocked then it will loop, there is no other way of handling that.

Perhaps we need to look at a scaled down version of the site for IPhones so thanks for the feedback.

My iPhone settings for Safari:

Accept Cookies: Always.

The size of the site is fine for iPhones. I can zoom into different sections and move about the site just fine - it's getting here that's the problem.

One way would be to remove a redirect if the user is an iPhone user - but then iPhone users will NEVER see that ad page, which is bad for you guys.

It's a pickle - I hope you think of something soon though!

Update: when the iPhone us connected to wifi I can get past the ad loop just fine.
Go figure lol
