Spotted Violation or rather a Break of the Restriction that does Not Allow Less than 10 Characters to be Posted.

Here's an example: http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7293958&postcount=8

Awaiting solution.

If you click on the "quote" button you will discover that the "hi" and the "u" are separated by 14 spaces, which browsers render as a single space, making the message 17 characters long.

I believe that the restriction to posts of at least 10 characters is done to help prevent accidental posting rather than to prevent posts of fewer than 10 characters being posted intentionally. If this is the case, then although it may still be useful to know if the restriction has stopped functioning, a break of the restriction is not for its own sake worth pointing out, and in any case I imagine that it would be highly unlikely for the restriction to stop functioning. Therefore I would suggest that you don't worry and don't feel obliged to make a report if you see another post which you believe may be breaking the restriction.

Still it looks like an abuse. @Elly or other Aministrators, what's your policy on that?

The policy, as far as I'm concerned (and the others can speak for themselves) is that it's a complete and irrelevant non issue and it's neither here nor there as far as I'm concerned.

I do it myself all the time, others do it and if someone does it, I will not do a thing as far as moderating it is concerned.

Thanks for your time.

The previous posting has been approved of being free of rules violations.

I know, I used it to test it. Note though that 90%+ of "less than 10 symbols posts" are bad mannered (not in D2 terms) posts, violating posts.

I guess I'm taking DIII.Net too serious. Moderators inciting to Spam ... that's terrible.

Maybe you should take a step back and look at things from a different angl

The topic of this thread is a complete non issue and frankly nothing will be done about it since it is not even a rule break all. Your repeated pushing of the issue is leading to the responses in this thread, and will continue to do so uless you drop the subject or a mod or admin locks it.

It technically might not be violation but practically is. Please lock it. Better than being swarmed by spam.

We the admins and mods decide what is and what is not a violation of what rule, if any.

Not the forum members.

Please stop.

One last thing - bypassing that (surely) anti-spam filter is like bypassing the wod filter which you advised me not to. Think about it.

If it becomes a problem I'll set it so this can't happen. This is the first time I've seen this happen.
