Watup.

I have a lvl 90 fireclaw pvp druid, and I just have a few questions about shockwave when applied to other duelers.

My first question is going to sound real stupid, but what does shockwave actually do someone when it hits them? (I know it doesn't stun them, but what advantage does it give me when they have that dizzy animation above their heads?)

Actually, I'm just going to wait until this question is answered before I ask any more, as I really want to know if it's really viable in the first place.

Thanks!

For PvP:

Swirlies make it so that ANY damage the target takes forces them into Hit Recovery. So, if you SW someone then a Raven pecks them (1 dmg) they'll still be forced into Hit Recovery.

So, just to clarify, when someone is "forced into hit recovery," how is that person at a disadvantage?

Because until you pull off the entire Hit Recovery animation you can't do anything else. It makes it possible to "stun lock" opponents.
